I'm sorry, but what the heck do you people do that you can afford 2k bags? I have a decent salary, but after I pay the mortgage the car note and the utilities...I cannot afford a $2k bag. I've been lusting for a LV speedy for about 2 yrs now and it just doesn't seem feasible to buy when I can do something else with it...I must be doing something wrong!!!

It's a tie...a MBMJ bowler bag (I think is the name of it) for about $300 or my coach carly when it first came out for $300 also. I can't seem to get past the $300 range for now...I could save for a more expensive bag but when I see all that money just sitting there to be spent on a bag I feel a little guilty and put it towards savings instead. I need $ for housing for the next 2 years for college, I don't really need a $400-700 bag just yet...but I sure would love one! LOL My goal is $200 or under for bags...I haven't broken it since May 2008 when I bought the MBMJ, so, I guess I'm doing good

Hmm, well I did once spend nearly a $1000 on a sale well known designer bag, only to have returned it due to a rather big flaw in its handle, I was then sent a replacement which had a very big flaw in the leather itself, which was also returned and I then got a refund. That was the most I ever decided to spend on a bag and it wasn't a fulfilling experience unfortunately. I guess the most I've ever spent on a bag that I've actually kept and loved is around £425 (around $700 now). Megabucks does not necessarily mean better quality in my book anyway.

Y'all are way out of my league! I've been settling for Dooney and Coach. Even then, I shop for a deal. Now I am known to be frugal - but I can't imagine spending a mortgage payment on a purse! Wow! I'd feel paranoid that something was goping to happen to my collection every time I left the house

It would be my Tortuga Zucca Spy about $1900.00. I love it!!! I'm really furgal and try to buy everything on sale. So this is one of the bags I did not buy on sale the other is my LV Speedy 25 and it I've had it for 7 years.
