What is the most that you'd spend on a handbag?

highest I've spent is $1200 +tax.....I would say for an individual item 2K would be my upper most limit (hubby would freak over that lol)
Fortunately my first designer bag was the 1200 one, and since then hubby thinks $800 is cheap lol
I think I started the right way!

My MC trouville and my balenciaga city. The trouville was $1240.00 I believe plus tax, but I ended up selling it down the line and bought my balenciaga, which was $1195.00 plus tax - but I had it overnighted to me, and when all was said and done it came to $1300.00 and change

it would depend on how much money i had at the time. i won't be buying a croc-diamond birkin any time soon but if i had enough money that it wouldn't dent my finances too badly i might.

I'd think of it this way and it might make your decision easier:

How many hours did you have to work to earn that $1500 (after taxes of course)? The implication being of course, that you will have to work a similar number of hours to put that money back in to your bank account if you spend it.

Actually, I get a "bonus" of sorts around the time the bill comes so it's sort of paid for, provided I use the bonus money to pay the credit card bill that is!
