Also agree with VBH. These are gorgeous bags. VBH and Tods fit the "stealth wealth" scenario in my opinion.Agree with VBH.
But if nobody could recognise it, wouldn't that be invisible wealth, not stealth wealth?![]()
Like the stealth tank, stealth wealth items are allowed to be visible to one's own side (in this case, other wealthy individuals)! LOL!!!![]()
i think an astute eye can discern craftsmanship and materials without recognizing the bag by name or logo. It's sort of like craftsmanship in a home. Custom versus cookie cutter versus mass produced materials.
Obviously not label ridden, but is there an ionic handbag that you consider a bag that obviously cost alot, but does not scream look at me?
How about the Chanel Reissue (original design by Coco and uses a mademoiselle turnlock rather than the CC closure)? I think many people wouldn't know that it is a Chanel.I'd say Bottega Veneta bags generally.
Also some Givenchy bags and smaller designers like Nicholas Kirkwood, Phillip Lim, Building Block, etc. I've even seen some beautiful bags by Stuart Weitzman.
ETA: Also Smythson for sure - they're probably the epitome of what you're talking about.
Nothing by Hermes, Chanel or LV.
