What bags do you consider to be "stealth wealth"?

Ah! I love this thread, I'm all about these... I like the look of some of Gucci's leather bamboo bags, and Tod's leather is beautiful too!! Mansur Gavriel is very nice, and lesser-known designs of Hermes, Balenciaga (Like not the "city" styles...), Celine, Chloe and the Row are nice! I also like the look of some of Elizabeth and Jame's bags....

Honestly, any high-end brand that isn't an "It bag" or without logos would be stealth wealth. I have quite a few bags that people don't know are really expensive until they ask for the brand. Even then, some people don't pick up on it. For instance, I was wearing my Hermes Double Sens the other day and was complimented. The lady asked the brand and when I told her she had no clue what Hermes was. I just smiled and thanked her again for the compliment.

Sometimes, I think that we forget that those of us on this board tend to be a little more purse brand-conscious than the average person.

I think the answer to this depends on who you ask. For example, a younger generation like "Rich Kids of Beverly Hills" would have a much different opinion than a more mature generation that has seen fads come and go.

After owning bags by every major premium designer, I'm really into under-the-radar bags these days. Here's the two I mostly carry, my Valextra tote and Nina Ricci shoulder bag.

These are both very beautiful bags. I have a Valextra myself and consider it my best quality bag. I have been eyeing the Nina Ricci bags also. Is this your first NR bag? Im curious as to how they age...I can def see me getting myself one in the near future.

They are both lovely!

Thank you both! Yes, this is my first Nina Ricci bag. I haven't had it very long, but I'm certainly impressed so far. It's thoughtfully and beautifully made; it's super functional and the finishing and the details on the leather, lining and hardware are impeccable. I sold my Chanel Maxi flap to fund the purchase of my NR Lutece shoulder bag and I don't regret it a bit. I've also always admired the NR Marche tote, which is sort of their signature bag that you sometimes see celebrities or fashion types carrying, yet it's still pretty much under the radar.
