What bags do you consider to be "stealth wealth"?

I'd go for the ostrich skin LV pieces, or ostrich in any brand (Prada, Coach). :P $10,00+ for a purse is wealth to me. And there usually isn't any sort of brand outside of a tiny metal nameplate.

The LV dog carrier (only one made in the whole world) was $25,000. Insanity. I saw it in the window and came tearing in to get a look. The sales associate that helped me said that I was the only one that recognized the skin and knew what it was, and could appreciate it. Everyone passed over the showcase piece because they had no idea... :P

i'd say BV and Balenciaga.

Hermes is very iconic, although it's not covered in logos, most people can identify a Birkin, even if they dont know it's Hermes, they know it's expensive.

I dont own a Bottega but everytime I carry my b bags, i always get a "nice bag" compliment, but NEVER the annoying "how much?" question which i can never avoid when i carry an LV

BV all the way, from personal experience. My (late) grandmother had the most elegant style and dressed without flaunting it. Only BV bags, St. John knit suits and understated Ferragamo pumps. Gorgeous jewelry but nothing over the top. I don't think she had any Hermes but it wouldn't have surprised me. She rocked. I miss her so much. :crybaby:
