NH REPRESENT!I'm pretty tired of seeing Coach bags around here as well. That's why I stopped buying them and moved on to greener pastures. Hehe.

It is DEFIANTLY LV in Tokyo, where I live 10 months of the year. Mainly the mono line but i'm starting to see more and more Damier. Everyone has it. Next most popular is Gucci, followed by Coach. Then Chanel. I think alot of people want Chanel but it's extremely expensive in Japan (my GST was about $3000 in tokyo) so not alot of people have it. (I hear about it about as much as LV but I don't see it that much)
In my hometown Hanover, PA where my family is, it's more of a middle class area, so you see alot less brands. Coach, Dooney and Bourke, Kathy van Zeeland are most common, Coach is considered as very expensive. See alot of knockoffs there too, mainly coach knockoffs, sometimes LV.

The same can be said about Western Canada. There's definitely more sightings of Coach as Winner's (Retail Discount Store that sells designers labels) even sells them. Once I saw several Gucci (the shining canvas ones) in the store.
The one "bag" that seems to be on every other person's arm is the lululemon reusable shopping bag.
In Massachusetts you see:
Lots of Longchamp Le Pliage,
Some real (and fake) LV mono and a touch of Damier
A great deal of Coach (mostly real and a good dose of fake)
Occasional Goyard (makes my day!)
Some fake Balenciaga
Occasional MbMJ
Lots of no-name canvas/faux leather bags...I live in a university/college area...

In Los Angeles it depends on the particular area you're in. In Beverly Hills and Bel Air, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci and Hermes are pretty popular. Outside those areas there's a lot of Coach, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu and Kooba.
