In Glasgow, Scotland I don't think I've ever seen a Coach. I was amazed when I came to the States for the first time and they were E-V-E-R-Y-WHERE! Nobody hit me, but I still don't "get" it.

I see a lot of Prada, Gucci & LV wallets, and LV and Chloe bags. Lately seen a few more Fendi's, mostly fake.

Genuine and fake LVs are everywhere in BKK and the same are for Longchamps and Balenciaga.

That's why i'm quite sick seeing them everywhere...Looking for unique brand for the next bag...maybe Goyard St Louis would fit my need:yes:

I'm from New Jersey, and t here are A LOT of fake bags out there.I dont really see many people carrying a really expensive bag. I see A LOT of coach bags (they are all the classic leather ones, or the C's)I see D&B, and the occasional LV.

No one has ever heard of Rebecca Minkoff (I always get asked about mine)
basically, if it isnt a designer EVERYONE knows, you dont see the bag lol

In Toronto I see mainly Coach, LV and Burburry, there is the occasional Gucci or Dooney. But with more international students coming in, I have spot some other brands like Balenciaga, YSL, Chanel, and the occasional Fendi.

In HK, you can find anything! From Hermes to Bottega, Mulberry to Balenciaga. Although LV and Gucci will remain the top 2 brands, I find that in HK many ppl are branching out to non-logo bags as they are not as 'luxurious' anymore.

Yeah Coach runs rampant here. A little too rampant in my opinion.


I'm really surprised at the number of people who put that Gucci is so popular in other countries. I would never have guessed that. I figured Gucci was played out by now.

Around NC, the most popular bags are Coach, LV (mainly fake), and Vera Bradley

I'm in a rural town in northern Utah so believe me seeing any nice bags is a rare site. However, I do see a lot of Coach and Dooney and Bourke. Now me, I carry Belen Echandia.

Coastal North Carolina, lots of Coach, fake LV, occasionally an authentic LV, lots of Vera Bradley. I've never seen any other brands here, but unless you go somewhere else to shop there are no stores that sell anything over $150. That would be really high end here.

It's interesting to hear of brands that I've never seen in the US!

In St. Germain-en-Laye, France (near Paris) the bags of choice are:
Gerard Darel in every style and color
Longchamp, same as above and especially pliage for the kids
Lancel, higher end but accesible and with great style and quality
Furla - reasonable prices
Renouard, French brand from Brittany in the 300 euro range, good quality
Louis Vuitton, Prada, Tods, Dior, Gucci - All these rarely
Hermes - only in Paris on the rue Faubourg St. Honore and most likely only on tourists.

I would bet most French women won't spend more than 350 euros for a handbag because they would they would think they were getting taken! Voila!
