chi, hello my dear. you know i have to defend my big bags. for me, it's about convenience (you already know that). however, i do like the way big bags look... but i agree, it's a matter of taste. i definitely am not going for the olsen look though.:ninja:

i was waiting for your response.  after all, we are two sizes apart with our muses. it is amazing that we get along so well. i really do think it is a matter of personal taste (and necessity).

today, i went to target with my daughter. she got sleepy and started fussing. i hadn't finish my shopping yet, so i put my weekender on the bottom of the shopping cart and she slept on it. of course, i took out the lumpy stuff. i was shopping over an hour and she was so comfy. anyways, my weekender was a life saver today. i thought i'd share with you all.

i know, i was thinking... where's my camera? i wanted to get my camera phone, but it was inside my bag and i didn't want to wake her. it really was a kodak moment.

i disagree. i don't think it is about attitude at all. i think it is about age/trend and mostly personal taste. i find the olsen twins, lilo, etc... to fit into the young/trendy category. that is not a bad thing all but it is not my thing. i consider myself quite fashion forward and stylish but would never wear such a large bag everyday. that being said, some one like mimi carries her big bags very well but she has more style than many women i know (and is about 8 inches taller than me).

well, what about those girls who are in the olsen girls' body type category but don't aspire to be like them at all and are not about being trendy. they may love having a big-sized bag out of necessity but feel uncomfortable because carrying one may not be proportionate to their body size-wise. i think in that case, a certain amount of confidence and attitude exuded may make them feel better in looking good and carrying it off well ;) JMO :flowers:
