hey peanut202 - hehehe, i was going through a WEEKENDER stage not too long ago... i'm just 5'1 and weigh about 55kg... have no idea how much that is in pounds... but hehehe, when esiders and i were talking... i think we come to the conclusion that i could probably crawl inside the WEEKENDER!!! LOL!!! So, i'm settling for a WORK... cant wait for AR to get the blueberry!!!! BUT, by all means if you want to get a WEEKENDER then go for it!!!!!!!!!!! i totally LOVE big bags... but i think the WORK will be my BIGGEST yet!!! hehehe!!! go the b-bag fever!!!

ya know, it's all a matter of personal style & preference ...i think big bags look hot on petite girls & i can't wait to wear my ink weekender (my hat's off to Edna & ashley olsen :welcome:)...what matters most for peanut is that she feel comfortable with it herself...i didn't think i'd fall in  with such a big bag, but once i saw it, i had to have it :tender:

I LOVE my Weekender bags!!! I don't have any pictures at the moment, but I'll try to post them when at work tomorrow (off today).

I have:
  1. 2004 Turquoise Weekender
  2. 2004 Black Weekender
  3. 2006 Cognac Weekender
  4. 2006 Grenat Weekender
While I also have 2 Work bags (Rouille & Apple Green Canvas/Black Leather - never used) ... I find that I actually need the larger size. I use them for traveling, and they are GREAT!!!

If you aren't wearing a bulky sweater/coat, etc., then you should be able to place the bag on your shoulder without any problem.

Before the year is out, I'm sure there will be another Weekender (or two) in the collection ... let's see (Rouge Vif?, Sapin?, Blue India?, Blueberry? ... choices, choices ...!!!!)

Oh yeah ... I'm 5'10" in stocking feet, but you know what ... regardless of your height ... you carry the bag with STYLE, girlfriend!!

i think if you are small that the weekender is too big for an everyday bag. i think it is all personal taste though. i personally have no desire to look like an olsen twin. i prefer the style of jennifer aniston, gwyneth, angelina jolie, etc... who are never really pictured with oversized bags.

you could be right about some girls chigirl, 'cause you need some attitude to carry such a big b-bag if you're little like moi :p...it's a matter of personal taste, style & how you wear it...the leather on my ink is sooooooooooooooo soft & smooshy that it doesn't really look any bigger than the work on me, which is my fave b-bag style :tender:

p.s. check out Edna looking totally chic with her weekender

i disagree. i don't think it is about attitude at all. i think it is about age/trend and mostly personal taste. i find the olsen twins, lilo, etc... to fit into the young/trendy category. that is not a bad thing all but it is not my thing. i consider myself quite fashion forward and stylish but would never wear such a large bag everyday. that being said, some one like mimi carries her big bags very well but she has more style than many women i know (and is about 8 inches taller than me).
