Same situation here, the SA called to get my information through the phone but I'm not sure if I actually got the bag or not. haha Has anyone received a confirmation yet? Was it a call? or through email?

It seems like there was just 1 guy in the boutique processing ALL the orders, by first comes first order.
Can I get your SA contact please?

Can I pay for it now and exchange it for a gold after without having to pay for the new price ?
I'm not sure if that's possible. In the past I was only able to do exchange on the exact same items (if there was some blemishes on the item I purchased). When I tried to exchange for a different color or hardware, they process a return then a new purchase, and settle any price differences.

I ordered from my local boutique (stand alone) today. The payment was processed this afternoon and the bag is being shipped tomorrow because they don’t offer curbside pick up

I would reach out to your SA to confirm just so you have peace of mind.

Will your bag be shipped from the boutique or the warehouse?
 
Warehouse:
So it seems like SAs are currently using a application from home to forward you to a remote payment website to enter your CC, from there your credit card information is forwarded to a distribution warehouse where another person checks the availability of the bag and takes your information to ring up manually. Soooo it does not guarantee you have the bag yet I think.
So the application was having lots of issues today, and most of the items were sold out immediately. :C
Supposedly they are going to enter phase 2 next week where they will have access to handbags in boutiques across the US, this week they were super limited.

Local Boutique:
Today my SA was able to ring up a bag directly at a local boutique and ship it out from there. I think some boutiques in areas that are opening up in the US are allowing 1-2 SA to go in and ring up stuff.
