No, I'm in CA and it's go through Los Angeles before it gets to me. My 4 other purchases were delivered within 5 business days. Hopefully it will be soon.

Hi vintage LVoers! I have a Jeune Fille (don’t know which size) that has really cracked leather on the strap. Also, it’s a bit too short for me as a crossbody (I’m 5’10” and size US 16). Could anyone tell me the vintage bags with the longest strap drop? Right now I’m looking at the Senlis and Marly Bandouliere as possible choices. I’d like a smallish, nonfussy crossbody bag for just running errands, etc. TIA!

I am so excited! I received my first vintage piece yesterday. This beautiful marly dragonne gm. I know I love my new pieces but I think I’m obsessed with vintage ones now. Can’t stop searching for what I want next haha

Mine just arrived today. It's so beautiful. I love it. Both pockets are sticky. I don't think I can take on the challenge to clean those sticky pockets and will take it in to replace the linings.

Congrats on your new bag. I’m a big fan of the repair route. Take it in ASAP. You will be so happy to get it back fresh and nonsticky

Looks like it’s in great shape otherwise! My inside small pocket was cut out but the outside and inside isn’t sticky for now haha. Enjoy it! I sure enjoy mine.

i have gotten a 16 years old Ellipse and it is so cute! It is smaller than i expected but that how i want it to be. However there are some 'darkening' i see at the handles but overall still look good for a vintage. Any idea do i need to clean this and if so how do i do that? but i might plan to put a twilly over too.

Hi everyone!
I love seeing everyone's vintage finds. Could use some advice about two speedy 30s I've recently purchased. I ended up with 2, both in monogram.
One is from 1979 (no date code, rectangular lock holes) and the other from 2001. I can't decide which one to keep, I certainly don't need 2.
1979 speedy: amazing sturdy vachetta although it's stained around the edges from the green oxidation that I have since cleaned. The canvas seems dried out, faded, and has a greenish hue to it. Is that normal for the super vintage canvas? I just can't get over how old the bag is and it's still in such great shape. The vachetta feels sturdier than any other LV I've had and I think this is the closest I'll come to finding my birth year bag (1980).
The 2001 speedy: great shiny canvas. The vachetta is in good shape with a nice patina but you can tell it's softer than the older speedy I have.
I don't really want to invest in getting any vachetta replacement.
So what do you value more in a vintage bag, canvas or vachetta? I'd love to hear thoughts and opinions!

So I am curious...what did you end up doing on these two speedys? I LOVE the vintage, especially on the classic speedy?
