I received my purple Station bag today and I am very disappointed. I paid $120.50 for this bag and it is extremely faded and stained. Do you guys think I have a case for a SNAD if the seller refuses to accept a return for this bag? Here is the auction link and I added better photos that I took. There is one photo that I now understand shows the fading but at the time I thought it looked like light from a lamp or something. This bag is in horrible condition.

The seller is wrong. Ebay's current policy, or at least the policy the last time I tested it, is to allow buyers to return on every SNAD claim. If the seller doesn't accept it and you escalate, a computer will decide in your favor and the seller will get a defect on her account.

Thank you, Whateve! I am going to escalate but I have to wait until the 25th. I would never have paid that much money for a faded bag. I hate to have to force a return but I feel she should do the right thing and take her crappy bag back and list it honestly, with clear photos of the fading. We were able exchange messages for a while but now she's ignoring me, leaving me no choice.

I hope the seller learned the lesson. Blurry pictures and vague words may got an item sold, but it was just shoot at his/her own foot.
It is principal, for the sake of other buyers on eBay, you need to take action and hold the seller responsible.
I think you have a strong case.

I agree, but I still don't like that I have to do this to her. She is adamant that her photos were adequate. Which is funny because in one of our messages she said that photos 1 and 4 clearly show that the bag is faded. I can see now that photo #4 should have made me suspicious but photo #1 shows the front of the bag - which is not faded at all. She can't even tell the condition of her own item from her own photos. So if she has anything to learn from this it should be that she needs to use better photos for her auctions. If it takes a defect on her account, then so be it. It's not up to buyers to have to ask for every specific detail of an item and I feel that fading is a very significant flaw that should be clearly disclosed. She had two opportunities to tell me the bag was faded, once in the listing and again when I asked questions about the bag.

I posted this on Instagram but thought you guys might enjoy it here too: my current black bag collection. I know there’s much love for color here (which I love too!) but I also love my black bags and I do wear them the most. I recently added a Retro Lindy that’s not pictured. And I’m going to have to give that Gilford bag the boot because although I like the shape, I hate that push lock thing!!!
