I notice all the popular vintage styles are redesigned on the Coach site for ~$300-$400. I'm sorry but this makes me sad. The vintage bags now will raise in price on the resale market and drop off in supply.
I don't think it will affect it that much. I bought one of the new bags on Coach. It is a color they never made in vintage. I don't consider it to be a replacement for my vintage bags. Nearly all the originals designs on Coach.com are very small. They've done this before and I don't think it affected vintage prices much. In 2012, they made a new version of the Rambler's legacy. I bought one but ultimately decided I liked the vintage version better. The new version of the Willis has been out for about a year. I think they've done a better job on this latest round. The leather is pretty nice and they are leather lined.

Between the Prairie, Saddlery, Plaza small, Post Pouch, Lunchbox, Canteen, or Bellacourt, which one(s) do you prefer and why? What are the pros or cons of any of them? Too small opening? Heavy? Doesn't sit right? Strap too short? I need a smallish roundish crossbody but have ruled out Watson, Casey, riding bags, the Madison line, or any pebble leather.
I don't have other styles, but between saddlery and prairie, I like the look of saddlery, but prairie is more practical for daily use for me. It is smaller than saddlery, but have exterior slip pocket at rear, and front pocket under the flap with gasket, where saddlery is just a flat slip pocket under the flap. As to weight, my black prairie is 555g, red .saddlery is 615g. Saddlery don't have exterior rear slip pocket.

Thoughts on a BT made in Italy station bag?
One thought - Yes. I fell in love early on with BT between a distressed to perfection City and a like new Oliver. I think no one would be shocked to find me buying a strip of BT leather in de ent condition with a hang tag on it.
Do you have pics, a listing or a particular concern?

Gosh, every time I see your red saddlery!!!

These are also the only two styles I own also and I completely agree with @LunaSilver review and comparison. I still reach for my saddlery more even though it’s not as practical without the extra pockets (especially the back slip pocket for me) but I think I just prefer the style more. I am still hunting for a plaza bag but I keep missing them (or not wanting to pay $90 or more for one).

I can tell that that has been the trend by the way conversation on here goes. Possible there's been a Coach decision-maker reading these forums and paying attention to the massive usage of the vintage threads and determined the redesign of these styles was a good idea.
I am convinced that they have an intern monitoring social media. I occasional post expressly for the intern.
Coach has been flirting with this idea, it would seem for a while. Debi the rehabber was featured in a short video (still on YouTube I believe) that was on the Coach website back in 2015 or 2016, just before I decided to reexplore vintage Coach. They offered very high priced refurbished classic styles. And they did a reboot of some styles back for the legacy line in 2012. Now granted, they were a bit removed from the originals, but I think over the years, in different style elements even, the powers that be knew there was potential for bringing back a reincarnation the closest yet to original issue.

Nice comps, ty.

Curious what eBay does.
So tomorrow I can ask eBay to step in and help force a return. Today the seller contacted me and said she just noticed the photo I sent of the bottom of the bag and wants to know what I tried to clean it with. Either she is also surprised by the poor condition of the bag or she's trying to trick me into admitting I tampered with it, thus voiding my "right" - so to speak - to return the bag.

Won't surprise me if the seller was just trying to trick you.

She's going to try and say you made the bag look like that. Thankfully you started the process of communicating with her right away.

I'm sure she is. Late last night she did finally accept the return and said that she will inspect the bag when she gets it back but she knows she didn't send it to me with a stain on the bottom. I took those photos within minutes of opening up that box! I did not cause that stain nor did I try to clean it with anything. And the stain is a secondary complaint, it's the fading that I can't live with. I'm sure I can clean that stain if I try but there's nothing that can be done about the fading. That's what should have been disclosed. This is so frustrating.

I am sunning my self on Ban Island and saw one. Debating if it’s safe to dip a toe in the water and not fall in head first

I would rule out Post Pouch, Lunchbox, Canteen and Bellacourt as too small (or, in the case of the Lunchbox, too square) to be useful for my needs.

Plaza Small is tempting, the top handle is nice, and it's a gorgeous shape, but it might be too small. I've never seen one at a price I could afford to give it a test drive.

Prairie and Saddlery are similar and between the two of them I would probably pick the Saddlery just on the basis of preference for styling details, and the NYC factor.
Ok thanks for chiming in. I prefer the look of them both with the small flap that the turnlock sits on versus the simple flap of other styles. It seems that there are a limited amount of styles with that secondary strip of leather, but to me, it elevates the look. It would balance out my collection to get some with the turnlock flap. I think my favorite design is top handle with a turnlock on an extended flap, which is why I like the Station, and why I have two of them. It really comes down to which one is more compact for me, since I like a crossbody to feel like it is not really even there. ETA I had a mistake in my description, so I fixed it.

Thank you for showing them side by side! That is SO helpful! I like the Saddlery design but I like the Prairie size being a bit smaller. ARGH! Are they pretty much the same thickness front to back even though the Prairie has the gusseted pocket? Which one is less bulky and easier to carry in terms of them hanging on the body, getting in the way, etc? For crossbodies, I like slim. The slimmer the better.

I hear you on the Plaza bag. The only ones I've seen priced reasonable are ones that are sold and it's because they were listed poorly by someone like me who didn't realize what style it was, so they don't get caught in my search terms. I just don't have all day long to sit and scroll through 10,000 vague "Coach purse" listings.

Prairie is more compact 3" depth, while saddlery is taller and 3.5" depth.
