Here is my solution to the ball chain loss situation. I think it looks just as good as the regular connector does. I used end clasps for 2.4 mm ball chain (calette or colatte? something like that...never had heard of it before), 4mm jump rings, and small 4x10mm lobster clasps. I think the end clasps were $6.50 with shipping for 50, the lobster clasps were $10 with shipping for 20, both from etsy, and the jump rings came in an assorted package with 4mm, 6mm and 8mm (80 of each) for $3.00 at walmart and are good guage metal (had to use pliers on them). I did not glue any pieces together so I could always go back to the regular chain connector any time I wanted. Though I also went with the O rings that @whateve suggested for fobs and charms, I still wanted to secure my hangtags. I think this solution would work for holding both a fob and the hangtag but I think since I spent the money, I will go ahead and use the O rings too and keep the fob off the ball chain, but at any rate, I feel better about my hangtags. I have a couple, maybe three bags with silver hardware so I am thinking about getting the same items in silver but haven't yet.

I posted this on Instagram but thought you guys might enjoy it here too: my current black bag collection. I know there’s much love for color here (which I love too!) but I also love my black bags and I do wear them the most. I recently added a Retro Lindy that’s not pictured. And I’m going to have to give that Gilford bag the boot because although I like the shape, I hate that push lock thing!!!

Lovely. BT is my go to. Thx for reminding me to take a picture of my BTs!

I'm already having way more trouble finding good prices than I did last summer.
I can tell that that has been the trend by the way conversation on here goes. Possible there's been a Coach decision-maker reading these forums and paying attention to the massive usage of the vintage threads and determined the redesign of these styles was a good idea.

Between the Prairie, Saddlery, Plaza small, Post Pouch, Lunchbox, Canteen, or Bellacourt, which one(s) do you prefer and why? What are the pros or cons of any of them? Too small opening? Heavy? Doesn't sit right? Strap too short? I need a smallish roundish crossbody but have ruled out Watson, Casey, riding bags, the Madison line, or any pebble leather.
I would rule out Post Pouch, Lunchbox, Canteen and Bellacourt as too small (or, in the case of the Lunchbox, too square) to be useful for my needs.

Plaza Small is tempting, the top handle is nice, and it's a gorgeous shape, but it might be too small. I've never seen one at a price I could afford to give it a test drive.

Prairie and Saddlery are similar and between the two of them I would probably pick the Saddlery just on the basis of preference for styling details, and the NYC factor.
