Oh, the BT-ness! Forget clicking LIKE, it’s . . .
:panic: :heart::heart::heart: :panic:
Yeah, I’ve got a thing for BT :girlsigh: Early on in my hunt for rehab candidates, I stumbled on a listing for an Oliver in BT. Aside from a small scrape on the piping, it appeared completely unused. I’ve been in love with BT ever since.

I need something in British Tan! Do you have a pic of your BT Oliver? :)

So I totally feel in love with my 9960 mini orange daypack, and now I need to search for one in yellow. :rolleyes: Just can't find a good yellow bag, tisk... lol

So cute! I love orange! I have a red one of these arriving soon and I can’t wait. I have a MFF Billie backpack in denim and it gets so much use in the summer. I’m really looking forward to adding this one to my collection!

I fell in love with BT when I rehabbed my NYC Pocket Purse in March. I didn't realize what color it was, and the finished product made me swoon. I needed something else in that color that was a more everyday size- hence the Broadway. It's a gorgeous color.

Vintage Oliver bag. A few of us were talking about this style the other night and it inspired me to use it today.

I have yet to find anything in British Tan but I need it! Lol
Join the club, but it could be addictive! The Oliver was just blind luck! Just listed as “classic Coach bag” with blurry pics, $26 shipped. I have a Bancroft that was in very good condition, a Shoulder Sac used, but not abused, a Sling Bag that came with a few stains that is a real work horse and a rehabbed, distressed to perfection City Bag. I am really trying to hold off on more BT, other than a HG in BT, or something like new that is a steal.

Beautiful bag! I have a rogue 36 in saddle and it looks kinda like that, but the BT looks a bit richer and more nuanced.

Yes, I believe I gushed over it in another thread! When I came to the forum a few years ago, it was purely to get vintage rehab ideas. Then I started to look at contemporary Coach and came to appreciate several styles, the Rouge being one of them. Trust me, if I ever see that bag for a steal on the secondary market, I would! Side note, because it could be forever before I find something in the HG shade of blue in vintage/near vintage, I settled on a new to me Cornflower Ace. I will cross the aisle!
I think because BT was a staple for decades, and there is always going to be subtle variants from lot to lot, decades later there can be such a unique character, from bag to bag, IMO.

Cornflower is a gorgeous color! My HG blue would be lighter than navy but deeper than medium blue no purple to it. I really loved the recent Cadet color but I wasn’t crazy about the bags it was released in.

I’m loving my deep dive into the older bags! Now that they discontinued my beloved rogue I’m just not excited about much of what’s being released except for a handful of styles. Haven’t been for the past couple of seasons.

I’m trying to get a feel for the Cadet blue you are talking about. I’ll do a little search around. It could be the blue for me too! There are some vintage from the Lightweights that were called Denim, but they essentially may be the equivalent of navy in the classic leather. I do have a Bleeker Basket and Legacy Rambler circa 2000 that are navy I do like the color.

Here is the mason carryall and cooper shoulder bag in Cadet. On the coach website their pics of the color varied wildly but I think it was somewhere in between these 2. I think there may be only SLGs left in this color.

There was a blue in Lightweights that was lighter colored than regular navy.
