Funny, I had the same idea. I thought of attaching a chain to the bag, in several places, and then attaching the tags to the chain and to the bag. As if they are hanging, but the image is fixed.
I may have to try this!! There are alot of sad coach bags that come through my small town thrift store that are sometimes beyond repair. I also had the idea of using one thats already ruined as a "frankenstein" bag..to try products on so i know how the coach leather responds before i add to one of my beloved bags

I guess ill just have to settle with my bone colored "murphy" for now. Made in 2000, so not quite vintage yet, but getting there...View attachment 4045062
Pretty! The only bone/chalky Willis I came across was on Etsy. It looked like it was in great shape, beautiful. Looked at the Creed shot, it was F-A-K-E! And the seller wanted alot of $$ The font looked off to me and BeenBurned pointed out the style number was wrong too. I felt like I failed the quiz on Coach 101, What is the style # of the Willis? Lol
I will always associate that with a Willis in that color.

Oh the irony of Coach 101! Some fake Coach (usually made in Korea) bags do have a serial number starting with 101. [emoji23][emoji23]

I started my rehab journey in earnest with two badly water stained, mildewed bags bought for ten bucks each. The irony is I was completely uninvested in the outcome. And they came out amazingly.

Oh bummer! I hate that, but ive been there before, too.I found a beautiful nubuc sonoma bucket bag that was a really good fake. The only thing that was wrong was the lining(wasnt striped) and the zipper pull. Hyacinth said it was a possibility that someone that worked at coach possibly made it after hours for themselves with scraps, because it looked like the real deal!. Yea, i had never seen a white willis before:)would have loved to have added it to my collection
