nope. its just a random seller, not a 'coach' dedicated person. so i suspect the seller has no idea, but i warned my daughter that it's more than likely not authentic. i can't remember the code for dominican republic, but i KNOW it's not "c"!!!

my daughter is looking for a vintage Willis; not a bag i've ever been interested in particularly. The one she wants has a creed starting J5C , but the seller lists it as Dominican Republic.
To me that sounds wrong? doesnt C in a creed = United States still? or am i misremembering my creed letters?
The seller may not be reading the creed but remembering another creed from a different bag, or copied the information from another listing. Usually counterfeiters pretend their bags were made in the US. I don't recall ever seeing a counterfeit that said it was made in the Dominican Republic. The codes for the Dominican Republic are X and Z, unlikely to be confused with C. I don't think the Dominican Republic was in operation in 1995.

that's what i'm thinking as well. it is odd. if she sends me the creed, and it passes muster, we might get it. but i wont push the button til i see a creed. i suspect my daughter wouldnt know the diff, but i could never live with myself buying an inauthentic coach.

How many Patricias are too many? I have a black one that is a worn-in knock around bag, and a mahogany one that is more lady-like, for work. I just thrifted a Hungarian one in British tan. Now i'm feeling guilty. i live in an apartment and my vintage Coach collection is crowding out my clothes. By the looks of you all, I'm not the only one. Thoughts, anyone?IMG_2192.JPG

If you use them all, then it isn't too many.

WTH..[emoji50][emoji33]!??! The only one pocket that came with the bag! What would anyone do with these?
i actually think this is pretty cool. i've done that on my own with some distressed bags that were too beat up to salvage, including my ORIGINAL personal carrier from the mid eighties. i cut out the pockets, sewed up the edge [not as well as this person] and have used them as pouches for 'stuff'. one has sewing machine foot attachments, another has bobbins etc etc.
i would never sell them on a public site, but i like using them. so i guess this person is going one step further.
