That's what I noticed too about the price. It happens because the seller see so many views and that can lead to thinking it's in high demand.

If you have a field bag, what do you use mostly for? I had the Berkeley one and then never used it so I sold it. I felt it was a little bit big on my 5' frame. Now I see the leather one in newer version and I am tempted again. Talked me in or out. Lol.

I have a Berkeley field bag. I use it like a small briefcase -- same as I do for the Musette. If you didn't use your Berkeley one, then I don't think you would use the leather one.

Seriously? That seller needs a reality check. Just because we are watching doesn't mean we are planning on buying it. Often lots of watchers without a sale means your price is too high.

They are hard to find. A few times I've bought black bags that ended up being gray after rehabbing. It is easier to spot gray in 90s bags. I don't recall ever seeing a gray stewardess.

This could really be grey. Lighting isn't that great. Outdoor pics usually look better to get an idea of the true color.

I'm thinking if I didn't use it suede, I probably won't use it in leather either for being the exact same thing. Unless it is not as heavy as the vintage one.

The newer Field Bags are very very lightweight and not structured.
