Yes, it's style 9044 and there are fakes out there for this style. I unfortunately found out the hard way.

I have one of these in Mahogany, and it's a real style. Geometric, I think? I bet someone else here. would know. It is a beautiful bag, but best worn as a clutch IMO. The strap is about 19" long and doesn't work for me as a crossbody, but it might be great for someone who is petite or only does shoulder carry.

Let's just make ourselves feel better by saying a toddler wrote all over the front and there was no way to get all those ink marks out! Lol!

Here are the results from the Vintage Patina paint that was mentioned a while back. The color is perfect, but unfortunately, it doesn't hold up to use. I've carried this bag for about 3 days, and it's already chipped off, and rubbing off onto the leather. [emoji53] I sanded the ring a little to help the paint stick, and sealed it with the finish that is part of the Vintage line, and let it sit/ cure for over a month. I'm going to try sealing it with clear nail polish next. I had no luck with the Rub n Buff either. If you find the miracle product, please share! Thanks for saving me from trying this. I had no luck with run n buff either. I'm thinking of trying a gold marker next, then coat with clear nail polish.
