It really wouldn't have mattered if you are a reseller or not. You won the item fair and square. I really hope the seller comes through for you.
It is too bad that Etsy allows two buyers to both check out so close together. I have only a few Cashin Coach bags and I was so excited to get it at such a good price (and in red!) I hope the seller will still complete the sale.

As long as Etsy's system doesn't allow two purchases to go through, I don't see a problem. I truly hope you get it as well. I recently won an extremely rare bag on Ebay, BIN, for a ridiculously low price as well. I couldn't rest until the bag was in my hands.

If it is a really good deal I get nervous when checking out and that is when I make mistakes entering my password! I like how Tradesy does it. When you put an item in your cart it is reserved for 6 minutes to give you time to complete checkout.

I know how that is! I'm always nervous until I've opened the package. What did you win?

I'm loving my new red Sonoma Small Flap #4919!

I have a question about the strap length. Most of the other 4919's I've seen on eBay list a strap drop of 22". Mine is only 18", which I've seen listed as the drop on the Full Flap #4929. It does not appear to have been modified. Does anyone know if you could order these with different strap lengths?

I don't think there were different lengths. Mine has a drop length of 22 3/4 inches and it was made in the same plant as yours. Yours doesn't appear to be modified. I wonder if they put the wrong strap on it.

That's possible. It's fine with me, because I actually prefer to carry shoulder bags, and I love the smaller flap. I was admiring your Aqua one. Such a sweet little bag.

Thank you! I really love it. There was a time when I couldn't handle such a small bag but now it works great for me. The Sonoma red is perfect. That is a gorgeous bag!

Being new here, I'm curious if any of you want to share what inspired you to collect Coach or how you got started? Maybe what bag you fell in love with first?
I'm also interested in how you became so knowledgeable in everything Coach? Is it just years of scouring the Internet or is there other means to getting a Coach degree?
If this is old news, just pay me no mind. Just wondering here....

I originally came to the Purse Forum looking for advice on authenticating, cleaning and refurbishing vintage Dooney & Bourke All Weather Leather bags from the mid-1980 to 1990s era. The Coach Rehab and Rescue thread captivated me with pictures of beautifully reconditioned vintage Coach from the same period. The leather looked so yummy, and the classic lines, handmade quality, and practical designs appealed to me.

One day about a year ago, I was in a local thrift store and saw an interesting leather bag hanging on the wall. The minute I touched it, I could feel it was special. So thick, supple, with lovely soft suede inside: it was love at first touch! It had a Coach creed that said Made in New York City. I bought it and had it authenticated here on the AT Coach thread, and learned it was a 9170 Classic Pouch. Beginner's luck, for sure!

Since then I've spent hundreds of hours here on tPF and on eBay, reading, learning, buying and selling. I feel like I've barely scratched the surface compared to the real experts here! I'm so grateful to all of them for their knowledge and time freely given to educate and help others.
