I love that color Willis! Most of the time when I use a scarf, it is one of the ponytail kind so they are skinnier and easier to tie without too much bulk. A square scarf I would either tie in a knot rather a bow, or roll or fold it into a skinny rectangle before tying it on my bag. Another look I really like is winding it around the handle and letting the ends hang down.

Whateve - love, love, love how you've dressed up your Pretties. :smile1:

Here's my latest heart-throb, a NYC Crescent #9235 that I dunked, scrubbed, polished and conditioned. She's the most amazing shade of orangish-red! I decorated her with a flicker feather.

(just back on my fav. TPF thread after a 'forced' hiatus because life being so busy and all, but) :

What a superb job you've done Catbird9 - also, the color you have her in - its one of my (top) favorite colors for a Vintage Coach Purse/Bag.

Hope you find one! It's such a pretty shape.

Coincidentally, today I received a recent eBay purchase, a book about the New York City Coach factory in the late 1970s. The book is filled with pictures of the workers making the belts and purses, with some text and commentary written by Miles Cahn, then the owner (with Lillian Cahn) of Coach.

One picture caught my eye because it shows a craftsman holding a large wooden die used to cut out the pieces of leather for the purses. The style number is written on the die and you can see where it says "Style 92xx." It looks like it could be the die for the back piece of style #9235, the Crescent.

Thank You so much for sharing this. As time permits for you Catbird9 - would love to hear more about this book from you. Where may I find one too please? Any thoughts on that would be greatly appreciated. I love any and all well-done books on the History of Coach.

I've been AWOL from the forums for a while, but here's my latest round of projects.

Wow Flushpuppy! I want everything on that table for my own personal Vintage Coach Collection. :woohoo::woot:

In the far (up) right hand corner (on the very top edge of the table), is that an 'orangish' Cashin for Coach perhaps (?) regardless, its Glorious. :hbeat: I love everything that you've set out on your table.

Thank You for sharing that photo - it made my day.

Thanks! That is a Dinky Tote, I think. I'd have to look it up in my stuff to be sure.

ETA: That red in front IS a Cashin for Meyers with a kisslock inside.

Yes, the Dinky Tote (so pretty ) - if I may ask Flushpuppy : is the inside lining an 'unfinished'/suede leather or Cashin Madras Stripe Lining (?) when you get the time to do so - would you be able to post a photo of its inside for us (?) - if you're okay with it of course. :smile1:

And Bonnie Cashin sure did some gorgeous designs for Meyers as well when she was 'in-contract' with them. I feel 100% confident sharing that any and all things designed by Bonnie Cashin was : GENIUS.
