Hello Ladies,

This is the same bag I returned late last month as a SNAD! Please see post #5068 and 5071 in the Ebay chat thread..whoo hoo! The seller is still using the same pictures, which don't reflect the missing leather on the piping. I had to file a return request with Ebay in order to receive all my $$$ back. I didn't have a good experience attempting to work with the seller. It's a great buy if you're able to repair the piping!

Wow, I didn't realize. I remember that. It seemed like a deal too good to be true.

Latest thrift-store charm for a classic Coach -- a $3 flower medallion for a bone Rambler's Legacy.

Guys, I need a recommendation for a cross body vintage bag. My black station bag is a bit on the small side for me right now. Willis is about the same size I think right? Same as my crescent hippie.... So those are out. The only thing I can think of is the Taft.....that is a larger bag (I think).....

I was looking for a grey bag (I sold my grey leather Baggu tote because I already had 2 in other colors and wanted to expand my horizons, lol) and was considering getting a pebbled Legacy Molly, but I knew I probably wouldn't use it much because of its shape. I decided to keep looking. Glad I did, because as soon as this cutie popped up on eBay, I knew I had to have it. The leather is suuuuuper soft. I also found this double zip coin case (NEW!) for only $20 on the Bay.

I also love my Station bag but feel it's a wee bit too small. The Willis feels noticeably larger (and heavier!) to me b/c a full size wallet can fit horizontally more easily and the back slip pocket is bonus room on the outside.

I made this pic a while back of the Murphy I did for my Mom compared to the (unrehabbed) Station, Willis, and Beekman. You might also like the Colebrook case, which falls in between the Willis and Beekman, but I am too tired to redo the picture :p.

I can't speak to the Taft...yet!

Oh thank you for the comparison photos. Just what I needed. Hmm...maybe I will rethink the Willis. The new larger Willis I think is smaller than the older style Willis No?.....I have the Murphy and do enjoy it's shape. The larger bag may be too large but it is a beauty.

Beautiful set!

I love it! I didn't think I was a charm person but I am down for your one-of-a-kind creations! You and some other creative types here have inspired me to look at the thrift store accessories dept very differently...:graucho:

Thanks! I started looking for such charms for my bags without hangtags, but then I kept on going once I caught the bug. It adds to the thrill of the hunt for vintage bags. (I'm also not willing to shell out for Coach fobs -- especially when so many seem to be fake, anyway.) I have a long daily commute, so I finger the charms like worry beads. It's a cheap thrill.

Latest charm for a vintage Coach -- a feather tassel made from hair ornaments. I found a bag of a dozen such unused ornaments at GW for $2.50. Many of them are garish colors -- hot pink and turquoise, for example. But these two matched my British Tan Companion bag well. I simply removed the little comb thingies that catches in your tresses. Oh what fun it is to find little gewgaws to dress up my aging ladies!

It is simply BEAUTIFUL - all of it - Well Done!
