I've don't remember one with straps. Can you show a picture of the strap attachment on the side and provide the measurements?

Length is 13", 9" tall, 3" depth. Attached some photos of the side. Have never seen fasteners like that. Thanks!

You know you want to. :graucho: Think of the challenge!

That wouldn't be a challenge, it would be a nightmare! I have too many in the too hard box as it is! :nogood:

Oh gosh, if it had just been the cosmetic case at a good price, I would have bought it. I didn't want the headache of trying to sell the bag and I don't need another Berkeley.

I might change my mind when I see it but I'll probably sell the bag and keep the purse. I have a rust coloured Berkeley that had ink in the back pocket that I didn't notice until it bled when I dunked it. It's been in the afore-mentioned too hard box since then.

I think they may have been added. See what whateve thinks. Does the strap colour match the bag? It looks a bit different in the pics. A great buy anyway way and the strap would be really useful.
Definitely added. If Coach had done it, they would have been sewn. The previous owner may have been able to get a matching strap from Coach, since they sold replacement straps at one time. I've often thought of clipping a strap to the rings. It's a slim satchel standard from the late 70s/ early 80s.

Just in case you decide to work on it, I don't recommend Fiebings suede dye. I bought Fiebings suede dye for a bag with problems. It didn't work. As soon as I brushed the suede, the color came off. I had better luck painting it with RIT fabric dye.

Thanks for the advice. I'm hoping it won't need any more than dunking and brushing, and conditioner on the leather.

If there anything Coach doesn't make?

Thanks for the help! I can't wait to rehab this one.
