Hello everyone,
I have in my possession a Gramercy wallet that came with the price tag, never used. After doing a search in the forum, I didn't find any reference to it, not sure if it ever came up. I have not found a catalog picture for it either, not much on the Gramercy line.

Anyway here it is if you want to add it to your files, Gramercy Compact Clutch 7097 made in Italy. Size is about 4 x 4.25 inches.

If post better suited for another thread please feel free to move it.

She is a beauty. Probably has more in common with the Madison Line made in 1996. Made is Italy, but the leather is different. I want to say it has something to do with Mark Cross. I know of one or 2 bags that match it, cannot think of their names. Hyacinth, please help!

The Gramercy line of bags and wallets were made around 1998-2000. In some ways they were even nicer than Madison but they didn't hold up as well. The lining of the bags was pig suede, rather than fabric.

The Bridle Collection are the bags I remember. Here are their codes, I could not copy pics.

F8E-6701
L8E-6701
Here's a few catalog pictures I have. I don't have any Bridle bags starting with 65.

That's actually not as bad as those I've seen listed on ebay recently.

Relatively speaking these bags weren’t made for long. So compared to bags like the City bag, Willis, Duffle, there just aren’t as many. Going back 7 years or so it wasn’t unusual for them bid up to $200. But if they flew under the radar you could get them for less. I found one at a flea market, cheap!
I look at my little BT and think, you could be a quick $500 bucks! But I’m all talk, I don’t think I could part with it! At least not for now.
