Until a few minutes ago, I had no idea who he is.

After searching this forum for his name, looks like I’ve got some tea to catch up on.

I hope that ANYONE who comes across that name, especially if the person " Dave Edwards " being referred to, is implying, claiming, or allowing others to believe he is, or at any time WAS, a Coach employee, has the common sense to do what you did and search these forums. To say he has a long history here and elsewhere is an understatement.

Good for you on the good price you paid for those bags. I have two of the Pocket purses (in Black and British Tan). If I ever come across it in Mahogany for a reasonable price, I may be tempted, otherwise, I am satisfied with what I have.

Dave Edwards moderates 2 Coach groups on FB. The convention there is that you can sell bags on Vintage Coach Cult, but first they have to be authenticated by him or his counterpart on Coach Counterfeits (and nowhere else). The seller is likely a member of both, hence the mention of him and authentication.

I joined those groups out of curiosity. They're very anti-dunk, which surprises me. Bags are authenticated with 2 photos: one of the bag itself and one of the creed.

It's.....interesting, I guess. I'm much more at home here. Now I'm off to make coffee and search Dave's name. 🙃

UPDATE: oh, bloody hell! He's the guy who fabricated a FrankenCoach bag and bullied decent YouTubers. Nope, nope, nope.

You got it! And "Dave Edwards" is not his real name either. Nor is he just the Moderator of those Facebook Groups, he's the owner (I think he owns and "moderates" at least 2 or 3 more). He's also been claiming to be "dying" for the last year or more to garner sympathy and push back against disgruntled Group members who objected to his management. Several have already left and started their own groups. He loves to have discussions with himself using his actual legal name because that's the one person who will always agree with him and tell him how wonderful he is.

He's been Sofa King Banned from tPF at least 4 times under different IDs and counting and is undoubtedly lurking here under at least 1 other ID so be very careful what you say or reveal here, and of course he has snoops who are active members of tPF. He probably has more fake or alternate IDs than Beyonce has Grammy Awards. I do NOT recommend getting involved with people like that. JMO, of course. Needless to say, he doesn't like me very much. :graucho: :crybaby:

(BTW, The first mention I heard that he himself made of his impending "death" goes back to early April 2022 and came through a third party, so I'm sure he would have mentioned it even earlier than that. I wonder if his sugars have ever done the math?).
