Not to mention all the weight it would add to the bag. My bags are heavy enough! Here's another photo of the inside and how they attached the spikes. Some kind of bolt/screws.
Wonder if airport security considers this bag a weapon??

Can someone help identify the color of this lula legacy? The official color name? The little bag next to it is a mahogany. It's a light brown. Thanks for any insights!
It could be taupe. Unless the Wendie is from the same plant and the same year, you can't compare the colors. They could both be mahogany but made at different times. Mahogany varied a lot over the years.
Happy Coach mail for me today! An impulse Poshmark purchase and I’m in love! Hamptons 10th Anniversary limited edition linen stripe bag from 2008. Style 13487. That center kisslock sold me.
Love that kisslock! It looks nearly new! I have a wallet/wristlet from a different collection but with similar fabric. It's so gorgeous I can't bring myself to use it.
It’s in excellent condition! Very happy with it. I am definitely going to search for the matching wristlet.
I have a wallet in that style, but it's much faded and worn compared to the glory of yours!

I feel like I'm coming in to my "vintage era". I've been restoring some beautiful furniture and then I came across this adorable Watson bag on OfferUp. It needs a lot of cleaning and TLC, but I'm happy to invest my time and energy.
My mom always loved Coach and D&B and this reminds me of the purses she carried when I was young.
Consider me officially obsessed with vintage full grain leather Coach bags, starting now.

Has anyone seen the #9031 Wendie bag in a Coach catalog?
Here's my Wendie; it was made in '97.
I've looked through all the vintage catalogs that were posted here from '89-'00 and didn't see Wendie anywhere. I've also tried Google searching, with no luck.
