It’s amazing and frightening what AI can do.Not sure where this might be most appropriate. I was playing with an ai (artificial intelligence) program to create images. I asked it to make some images of addicted to vintage Coach purses. Here's what it came up with.

I asked ChatGPT if it intended to take over the world and it said no. It said that would require more programming. It’s amazing and frightening what AI can do.I, for one, am not prepared for a world that is shaped by our AI Overlords

That sounds exactly like what an AI planning to take over the world would sayI asked ChatGPT if it intended to take over the world and it said no. It said that would require more programming.![]()
Everyone loves a Chester or smaller canteen bag (idea for the friend).I have two May birthdays coming up (a very good friend and my step mom) and I’d love to get some recommendations from the Coach Hive Mind
For my friend, she really likes smaller crossbodies and I think she would appreciate an adjustable strap as she likes to wear them a little higher. Can you recommend a small, adjustable crossbody style? If it has some interesting colors that I could look for, that would be a bonus but not required.
For my step mom I think there’s more room for variety because Coach does a lot of tote bags, which are her favorite. She likes a big bag that she can fit the kitchen sink into. What are your favorite totes, or a generally very well loved tote that nearly everyone is happy with??
Thanks in advance for anyone who can throw some recs my way
Edit to add: trying to stick to vintage bags up to around 2002, pre-Coach “C monogram” era essentially. Bags that I could rehab basically![]()
A lot of the smaller bags in great colors don't have adjustable straps, like Abbie. I think the Emmie flap is very cute and comes in periwinkle and lime. The Soho belted pouch comes in great colors, like periwinkle, orange, leaf green. Sonoma small flap comes in many colors. Also Maggie duffle, Rambler's Legacy and Wendie.I have two May birthdays coming up (a very good friend and my step mom) and I’d love to get some recommendations from the Coach Hive Mind

its okay to feel sad that you were out-bid! I would feel the same if I was that close to winning a bag that I had been hunting for … I can’t imagine how it feels after years of looking for itI know you're all my people at heart. This morning, I missed a bag that I've obsessed over for years. I bid ridiculously high and someone was more ridiculous. I'm so depressed. I know--there's always another bag. I know--I should go look through what I already have. I know--the other bidder overpaid and rather him / her than me. I'm still depressed. I sold some Shinola watches to fund this anticipated purchase and that money isn't even burning a hole in my pocket yet. Blah.
I collect vintage Duffle Sacs. For one year, the duffle sac was made in a spectator style. The duffle I missed was black with British Tan strap, tag and piping. It was only the third I’ve ever seen.its okay to feel sad that you were out-bid! Do you mind if I ask what bag/color it was?
What style bag, we'll keep an eye open for it. Edit. I see someone else asked already and it's been answered.I know you're all my people at heart.
