I bet it won't get any bids.
It's a lot of money!! But someone else was willing to pay that much on shop goodwill! This ebay listing also accepts offers. So, someone could offer less and maybe get a deal.
That was listed a month or so ago and the starting bid was 799. No one bid on it then either.
I’ve noticed that Goodwill auctions go for much higher - even black Willis’ - but on eBay, some auctions can’t even get a bid.
I find that perplexing.
Why does that bring about trust issues with Goodwill? I’m not following your logic. Not being sarcastic or snotty.
All the reasons you stated- makes me suspicious. Who knows who is bidding? Usernames are hidden and there is no rating system like on eBay- no way to find out if a bidder is an actual human or a bot. Gotcha. Now I understand what you’re saying. Perhaps I’m wildly naive because bots on Goodwill never even entered my mind. There isn’t an “esnipe” for Goodwil - and it’s very easy to get into a bidding war unless you go in at the last few seconds.
Whatever the case may be, I do feel something is off, as you do too.

At first I thought, my rehab pile is sort of cringey/embarrassing, but then I thought, yeah, it is fun!

I bought a photo prop today! It proves my intent since I'm always saying I'll try to take a photo. At about 2:00 in the afternoon the sun shines just right on my patio and once I gather up some sugar maple leaves I should be able to get a beautiful fall shot tomorrow.Pretty please!!!Or you could do the inspired concrete front doorstep photo shot! With a random leaf or two.

I am just seeing this and I don’t know what you plan on doing but I adore the patina and wear of your Lime Green Regina here. It’s so interesting how some colors fade. I love how I see the original color poke though on the edges here and how the hangtag screams the original color. Of course, you need to be happy with it but just wanted to say beautiful bag!!
