You are correct! I did see that! I was focused on the big jump. I wonder a) how high the winner was willing to go and b) how the $1050 bidder feels - disappointed to lose, or, wow my Visa just dodged a bullet [from my experience]

So it jumped from 551 to 1050? Sounds like it may have run through all the max bids till it got to the last one- 1050, then someone pops in the $1 snipe at the end to win.
I don’t trust goodwill anyway so we’ll have to watch for it to be relisted if the sale falls through.

Coach mail today was this gorgeous & pristine black Winnie . After the polished/cracked Winnie fiasco I dealt with a few months back, this was some nice karma from the bag gods!

I saw the shearling bags. Looks luxurious but I'm afraid they will look like a well loved teddy bear from my local goodwill in less than a year. Specially if it gets extra cuddle times.

I can confirm that I do. My closet is a leather sanctuary, my zen time where I buff, admire (hug) and wonder what the hell am I doing with these bags? If I were an extrovert, would I have all this?

Is that a style you don't care for? I find it interesting what people absolutely love and don't. I, for one, love the Hasp and it's unique bling. It's the perfect size and I love how it carries. Fortunately I found one for less and in almost perfect condition! Do you have a favorite?

It is a great looking bag with the distinctive hardware. I think it is safe to say I have a general appreciation for vintage leather a vast array of styles. I think I go through phases. I love my Shopping Bag tote (some of the allure is in finding unused bag) and Buckle Tote (some of the allure in the hardware, refurbishing). I’d love to find on in any of the SB styles in rust. That feels like a HG quest. There are styles I love for the aesthetic, like the chunky little kisslock coin purse Shoulder Purse and for function like the Oliver, Janice/ Berk Zip and a little of aesthetic and function, the Plaza. Ask me in 6 months!
As someone on the Forum said, I don’t have to own a bag to like it!
I have a hard time spending over a certain dollar amount if I can’t see the bag in good light and feel the leather, assuming I can’t return it. Maybe when I get on a selling platform, I might feel different.
