Another recommendation: Watch ebay to see if you recognize anything. Did you file a police report for the "lost" or possibly/probably stolen items? If so and if you see any of your bags, you can submit the report to ebay in hopes they'll end the sellers' listings. (TBH, I don't know how that would work but it's an idea you might consider.)

What gets me is that those boxes left my house last June. The shipping company had no checks in place to notify me that two boxes didn’t make it to the boat. They could be anywhere by now! I have been looking closely at the listings for anything I recognize, but it’s a long shot.

maybe I will call the police and see if there’s anything that can be done. I’ll unpack the boxes this weekend and take a pic of what I have and look through my records to see what’s missing. Then see what avenues I can pursue.

I can’t imagine they would even know what to do with all of those bags. I bet it went for a lot sale on eBay ages ago.

Was lucky and got a Stewardess in BT for US$60 which is actually cheap for me. The ones Ive seen are getting close to the NZ$300 mark...without shipping and taxes.

the crew didn’t even know they had two deliveries in there. All of those suitcases and beat up boxes aren’t mine… and they had no clue. Ugh

This is common now. They transfer things from truck to truck and combine different people's things together. My son moved recently and had to pay a premium to get all of his things on one truck for the entire journey.

That's the most inefficient packing I've ever seen. Haven't they ever played tetris?

they should invest in a Station bag...you learn to play tetris with your stuff when you have a Station.
