I have certainly cried, @houseof999 . Haha more tears than I am willing to admit.

there’s a black Lula for sale within my reach right now. I’m tempted to console myself with a therapeutic splurge. :angel:
Are you up to speed with all the catalogs posted on the Reference sub forum?? “Leafing” through them might be therapeutic :yes:

Oh my goodness, I haven't been up to speed since, er, since a long time. I have happily perused lots of information in this great forum but after awhile it all starts to run together...perhaps taking it in smaller bites might help. Thanks for the suggestion!:facepalm:

Noooo great idea. Leafing through my usual $0-$25 in vintage Coach listings brings up a bunch of shoes, belts, and jacquard. Haha oh my how times have changed. Since when is a black basic bag with torn piping listing for $75??

@Nataluccia3
Did you purchase the bags online?

If so, the sites, your email records (if you save emails), Paypal, etc. may still have records of purchases and payments to give you some documentation to show what the bags are worth.
I definitely have all of those records. The trouble is that I didn’t trust the removal team to pack my bags (I packed them all by myself), so there’s no record of what was in the boxes. I could certainly tell them what I’m missing, but it won’t hold.

I had expected moldy or beat up boxes, not no boxes at all :(

@BeenBurned tbh, I was just foolish to tell the removal crew that those bins were valuable and that I wanted them packed well. I wanted them to cut cardboard boxes to fit around the large plastic bins so they were secure. I stressed their importance. They never made it to the boat. I should’ve known better than to tell them they were valuable. Just foolishness. Rough induction to the ‘been burned crew’

They probably cursed you when that bunch of guys (presumably) opened the boxes and found "just" purses! Maybe they don't get the value and will pack them back up and "find" the lost items.

Another recommendation: Watch ebay to see if you recognize anything. Did you file a police report for the "lost" or possibly/probably stolen items? If so and if you see any of your bags, you can submit the report to ebay in hopes they'll end the sellers' listings. (TBH, I don't know how that would work but it's an idea you might consider.)

Oh girl it’s bad. Ever since Coach started charging crazy pants prices in the fall for their rehabbed bags. If you search my posts I posted some screen shots …
Do you want me to fill you in or do you just want to read for yourself …

I got that from someone here!
Ive pretty much stopped buying from ebay because of the way out prices.

Im lucky I have some wonderful friends here.

Hopefully I have a Manor coming at some stage which Im looking forward to.

Was lucky and got a Stewardess in BT for US$60 which is actually cheap for me. The ones Ive seen are getting close to the NZ$300 mark...without shipping and taxes.
