I think a majority of us saved all the PDFs @LaVinCoach kindly made, so don’t worry about not copying them to your files! We’ve got back ups on back ups!:coolio:.

I don’t think the person complaining has a leg to stand on. No rules were broken to make the catalog thread.
I  the dedication to vintage here! Love the back up idea!

To clarify, it isn't illegal to sell catalogs. It is illegal to copy catalogs and sell those copies because you don't own the copyright.

It isn't illegal to freely share pictures.

Exactly!

Apparently "someone else" doesn't understand that. Or much more likely, he conveniently ignores that fact AND lies about it to his "members" when it suits his purposes. When his illegal listings for the thumb drive scans get noticed, the listings disappear for a few months until the heat dies down, just like the most recent listings on Posh did. Anyone who's done any reading on trademark and copyright laws knows that he's in clear violation, and anyone who knows tPF also knows that this site doesn't force people interested in vintage Coach to apply for membership and divulge their personal details and contact info just to look for information, (posting, of course, requires membership, just like almost every other similar site on the 'net, for obvious reasons) on vintage Coach or any other subject, UNLIKE THE FACEBOOK SITES OWNER WHO'S SELLING THE SCANS FOR PROFIT AND MAKES ALL HIS SITES PRIVATE.

Why some of his members can't take the time to do a little basic research on the subject is beyond me. Maybe some of the ones who do, don't stay on his sites very long? Or the ones that do, don't mind being lied to?

"The person complaining" likes to throw out threats where his members can see them so he sounds like a big tough Macho Man. The fact that his threats are meaningless doesn't seem to bother most of them. Some of the slobbering adoring posts in the screenshots I saved would make you lose your lunch.

Man! I always miss when things like this happen. Lol! I hope the catalog pics stays in the thread. I do so appreciate you guys sharing!

Don't worry. If anyone complains to me about posting those catalog scans, I'll simply send them the screenshots I made of his listings for those $29 and $39 catalog scans on 8GB thumb drives. I think he even had them listed for $49 at one site, I'll have to go back through my files and check later. I'll make sure Coach gets copies too.

"Ssssssscreenshotsss, Precioussssss!"

I am beyond stoked. I had this duffle authenticated by Hyacinth earlier this week.

I wondered about the color and Hyacinth correctly pointed out that the only browns when this was made were mahogany, British tan and taupe. And this duffle wasn't mahogany. Well, I dunked it today, still confused about the color. Then, with all of the catalog discussion here, I checked the Spring catalog from 1996 and found this:

The duffle sac in the photo is British tan but the Taft on the left is TAUPE. My duffle sac looks exactly like this. I believe the color was only made in the duffle sac during 1995 and 1996. I never really thought I'd find one, even by accident. I will post photos once it's dry. Merry Christmas to me!!

That's a great color, I have it on a Willis from 1995. Normally I'm not a brown fancier but the Taupe is such a rich color while still being neutral and unusual as well. I'm glad you like it.

Charcoal Grey is like that too, I wish Coach had made more 1990s styles in those shades.

Thinking again of my little buddy Gollum ( I wonder what brought him to mind?) This is a momentous weekend for Lord Of The Rings anniversaries!

The Fellowship of the Ring: International release 19 December, 2001
The Two Towers: 18 December, 2002

The Return of the King: 17 December, 2003

Happy Anniversary to my favorite Elves, Hobbits, Wizards and Rangers (and an assorted Mortal or two) and a Happy Yule to everyone!

Here are my little handbag bag charms (not including the tea roses). I’m not a pink person so won’t use those but they were just too cute to pass up for my collection!
How cute! I used to have a collection of these, then realized I never used them. I bought the mini Willis recently and haven't used it. I probably should have resisted, but it is so cute.

Haven’t used a single one either but they are adorable. Can’t help myself! However, I’ve not gone totally crazy on charms. Would be easy to do. Besides these I have some tea rose charms and I do use those. These handbag charms are a little large so they don’t work with smaller bags. I saw a post where someone attached a chain to the little green Rogue charm to use like a tiny shoulder or crossbody. It’s a big one but so darn cute!

I used to have one just like your red city bag fob that I wore on a duffle sac. It worked because the duffle sac is so big. I have no idea how or when I'll ever use the mini Willis. If I had bought the actual mini Willis in the same color, I would have worn them together, but if I was going to buy a Willis 18 I would have gotten another color.

The 18 is close in size to a Winnie. I put the pink Willis charm on one of my Winnies and I think it’s still too big. But it is darn cute!

It is so big in relation to a small bag that it looks ridiculous but they had the pink Willis charm on the pink Willis 18 at the store and it was ridiculously cute. If the charm had come in green, I would have bought both the Willis and the charm so I could use them together.

I have a few other huge charms I've never used. Woodstock is even bigger than the Willis charm.
