I would assume your tracking is proof that its on the way back so the site can’t deny your refund if it gets delayed right? Maybe USPS is experiencing delays in certain areas?
I don’t at what point they can say it took too long. I sent it back the very next day (exactly a week ago today) and it’s still not there. I am afraid more than it getting lost, that their system has a glitch and it will be delivered without registering and she will have the bag and my money.

Can you contact USPS and save proof that you're on it?

I would reach out to their customer service and explain the situation and send them the tracking so they know you sent it back. Does Mercari hold funds like poshmark or is it different?

So my fake Willis was supposed to be delivered back to the seller on Tuesday, but USPS still says it’s moving through their system With no new delivery date given. I am getting scared.
I wouldn't worry. If it is delayed past the original estimated delivery date there isn't an new expected delivery date but it will still get delivered. In all the years I've been selling, I've had packages get delayed or misdelivered but never completely lost. These days they are much better at scanning upon delivery. Even if they forget, I think they have some way to retroactively make it look like it was scanned on delivery.

I just missed out on this bag - should I be losing sleep over it? I hesitated and now regret. I’m hoping I didn’t goof on this one View attachment 4778352
Don't lose sleep over it. It's a sweet style and was made in NYC, but it is a light-colored bag that has a host of problems that require serious rehabbing efforts and could very well end in disappointment.

I just thought of something else. If the package does get lost, if you used the label provided by Mercari it probably has insurance.

@RadhaDB A bottle green Taylor Zip has just hit Ebay at a $90 price point and I need to pull myself together, so please tell me how the Taylor is a very impractical bag that you never reach for. Man, '94 was such a good year for bottle green, they all look extra pretty and that shade is a neutral in my wardrobe.
Remember that bottle green Prairie (from' 94) I tried to force on @Coachaddict4020 and @aerinha? Well that didn't work, and it may or may not be on its way to Germany now.

I saw that taylor zip and Im watching it! I found out the pocket purse I got is Forest Green, so based on that logic... i still need a bottle green bag ;) haha! I need to be on a bag ban for real now because my ac died and the repairman is coming tomorrow which means a hefty bill along with him! No more bags... must rehab pile...can’t give into ebay app...

Also, can’t wait to see your green prairie! :yahoo:

Thanks for the encouragement, haha! I have a thing for the Taylor. Something about it just speaks to me but I've put off buying one because it has square D-rings. Just like the Prairie I just purchased, so there's no logic here, lol.

I honestly don't know if forest green and bottle green are different colors. If anything, I think that the younger dark green does have a somewhat translucent quality to it, thus justifying the 'bottle green' name. Whatever dark green they used in the mid nineties was glorious though, and I want it in a bag that I can see myself using everyday. I have a bottle green Blazer and a bottle green Mitchell, but they both don't quite cut it. Hope the Prairie does!

I think bottle green is a little lighter, more vibrant. I had a forest green pocket purse that was a deep green that was almost impossible to photograph.

We just had some home repairs and haven't gotten the bill. I'm very worried about how much it will be. They replaced a door and some siding so I know it won't be cheap.

I noticed the later make greens do look true to bottle green or hunter green (not sure if those 2 colours are different- but they both have that truly unmistakable yes-its-green colour to them). My forest green purse is pretty dark indoors but I took it to the store the other day and in the sun outdoors it looked very olive green. I really like it cause its not super dark like the navy where it essentially looks black but I do want a true bottle/hunter green bag. Not a pocket purse though, I have 5 now and don’t need anymore of them lol. Maybe a devon or murphy if they ever come along in green haha.

Hi guys! What’s the consensus on dating for bags with this type of zipper pull? I have two bags with this style pull, both have NYC stamps with serial numbers (but not the glued-in style). Am I right in thinking late 70’s-early 80’s? 476C29DD-72D3-483F-ADA9-5F6A0F5125CC.jpeg
