I bought a bag yesterday and the seller messaged me asking if I planned on selling it and if I knew how good of a deal she gave me. I was honestly so weirded out, even if I was planning on selling it (which I wasn’t), its none of her business what I decide to do with it. I requested a refund, I ain’t dealing with that kind of crazy lol

It was honestly so bizarre. Ive never gotten a message like that before. I think she was maybe gonna ask me to pay more for it. She sent me a message also stating what the bag is listed for on another site. Like thats great, but the list price might not be the sell price if they accept offers so if she was expecting me to pay an absurd amount, she should have just listed it for that much to begin with..

Now I’m curious what you bought...it’s odd that she thinks you will sell it for more when she obviously couldn’t

I don’t wanna say because its gonna be really easy to find the listing and therefore find her shop. But it was nothing special tbh. Its a popular style vintage bag and she just happened to have it in a colour thats a bit hard to find in good non scratched/no patina condition. Its a capitalist society so shes free to sell it for however much she wants, I just think its really rude and tasteless to message a buyer the way she did so I opted for a refund

Are the brass ones camel? The bag that Valv posted looks gorgeous, like light tan as opposed to camel. If I see one with brass hardware I have to buy it to find out. Unfortunately I've been fooled by camel too many times already though - I have 3 camel bags and I hate them all, ha ha!!

Any classic style made after 1997 that is camel would have nickel hardware.

Yes ebay! The listing is actually gone now (or she didn’t re list it yet) but so are all her other listings. Im wondering if she blocked me. Oh well- good riddance!

eta: its telling me user not found when I try to search her ebay name as well now - I don’t know what happened but I think ebay deleted her account. I wonder if she just sold things to people only to message them about how the item is worth more and then wants the buyer to send more money off of ebay as a scam without ever shipping the item itself? That seems like the only logical explanation. I dont think I was ever gonna see that bag anyways now that I think about it. Ive reached out to ebay but Im sure they’ll have no issues giving me my refund

Of those three bags, Patricia, Legacy Zip, and Stewardess - the Stewardess is the one with the most “presence” in my opinion. You just can’t help but notice a Stewardess bag because it looks really special! In the same way that you have to notice a Willis bag. Here's a brown Stewardess that I once rehabbed as a gift for a friend.

Well thats one good thing, ebay is pretty good at removing scammers and refunding buyers. Her account was probably removed. She must've been reported by a few people.

So my fake Willis was supposed to be delivered back to the seller on Tuesday, but USPS still says it’s moving through their system With no new delivery date given. I am getting scared.

I would assume your tracking is proof that its on the way back so the site can’t deny your refund if it gets delayed right? Maybe USPS is experiencing delays in certain areas?
