Haha, best conclusion ever! Thanks for the insight.
I like my crossbodies really short, so the Stewardess would probably work, but what I see on Ebay is always too expensive for the condition. They all seem to break in the same spot too, where the flap piping meets the body. Based on your pic it looks like the Legacy Zip is the most comfortable. A stuffed-to-the-brim Patti probably feels like a heavy messenger bag that sticks out weird. Or maybe not, so you're right and I have to stop paying rent and get one of each instead.
The older Stewardess bags don’t crossbody. My NYCone was shoulder only.

Let the record reflect I do  like camel, acorn, saddle, chamois, toffee, butterscotch, whatever Coach called it, with brass. I just had two camel Bleeker bags (93xx with the white top stitching) with weat and they did not age/rehab well! My chamois Light Tote (any one remember "shiny" tote?) came out great though. Thank goodness.

I like camel too, I think it is a nice, light summery color. I especially like it paired with nickel hardware IMO.

Unfortunately. You nailed it. Although I did see two in the wild with brass, in passing and I liked them a lot. They looked good. Must be able to get them before they get beyond the point of no return.
Are the brass ones camel? The bag that Valv posted looks gorgeous, like light tan as opposed to camel. If I see one with brass hardware I have to buy it to find out. Unfortunately I've been fooled by camel too many times already though - I have 3 camel bags and I hate them all, ha ha!!

Not sure. I have not found any catalog pages for what the Willis was offered in.

Ive yet to get a Stewardess but as you can see its on my list
I love my Stewardess for when I want a nice big bag.

Of those three bags, Patricia, Legacy Zip, and Stewardess - the Stewardess is the one with the most “presence” in my opinion. You just can’t help but notice a Stewardess bag because it looks really special! In the same way that you have to notice a Willis bag. Here's a brown Stewardess that I once rehabbed as a gift for a friend.

The Patrica bags can also tear in the area where the flap attaches to the body. Below are pics of a brown Patricia that I rehabbed that had a bad tear in the flap so I had it repaired by a professional. I had only paid $4.50 for the bag at a thrift shop so it was worth it to have it repaired professionally. I think that the guy did a nice job.

All bags seem to have their weaknesses that can show up with wear. The zipper on the Legacy Zip could jam or break and the turnlock on the Stewardess could break. Happily these things can usually be repaired.
