Fake willis boxed up to go back. Luckily I had a Zappos box delivered today and used that, I would have used her envelopes but I couldn’t get the bag back in and feared she would claim damage. Anyway, I already have a message from her asking when I would be shipping it Back. I got it today, I don’t have a way to easily print the label at home, no mail on Sunday so Monday I will print at work and put it in out going mail.
I saw the one sold recently for $600+, yours is in much better condition, I am so jealous...Just kidding, a rare beauty like that deserves the best home for her.
Yummy. Between this bag and my new gigantic Saddle, I am feeling it for vintage-vintage lol. Do the buckles say “Solid Brass”. I am guessing they do. They look like the buckles on my Saddle.
ETA, I think if I had to choose between this and a Pony, I would go with your bag. It’s in amazing condition and fairly rare. And the price!! If my Saddle is 13” and the Pony is 11” that makes the Pony on the small side!

I usually go 20% less on offers and many get accepted! But I go for a lot of rehab specials.
I have to be more confident to do that.
I made two offers on the Bal and the seller rejected both and paid the full asking price for it but I thought good on her for sticking to her guns on price.
Nope, no solid brass on the buckles. I've found that very early bags didn't have solid brass hardware, then they started using it in the early 70s, so some pre-creed bags have solid brass hardware. Mine has a metal tag. This is only a little bit over 11 inches across but it might be taller than a Pony, or at least have more usable space since it isn't curved.
