Of course! Will they need rehabbing, or are they already in great condition?Soooo, I'm a bad girl. I got a grail blue Bixby sling, and a bt trail bag. It's my birthday week so its ok...right? Lol.
Both are in need of a reshaping.Of course! Will they need rehabbing, or are they already in great condition?
I just want to find a green bag- did the saddlery bag come in green? Does anyone know? And then I believe I will be content with my collection of vintage. Both are in need of a reshaping.
Happy Birthday!!!! There's no better Bday gift than a gift to yourself of something you truly want, especially a Grail bag!Soooo, I'm a bad girl. I got a grail blue Bixby sling, and a bt trail bag. It's my birthday week so its ok...right? Lol.
My husband tells me all the time to start offering "rehab" services. I tell him, doing it for me is one thing, doing it for others is a whole nudder animal.I just want to find a green bag- did the saddlery bag come in green? Does anyone know? My husband, who has been awed by the fact I have turned some sad looking bags back into almost new condition, has been encouraging me to find more and then resell them. The woman who I bought the yellow daypack from yesterday asked me for my card when I told her I rehab vintage Coach, lol! I told her I didn't have one, it's a side hobby. But I plan to take that bag back to show her the difference and maybe I can start a local side hustle?![]()
If you can sell in person, that would be awesome! I don't like selling on eBay. People don't fully read my listings and many times they expect a bag that's 20+ years old to be in perfect condition and only $40. Maybe other sellers have had better luck than me but I've sold less than 10 bags on ebay and I've already had to deal with cancellations, returns, and a disappointed buyer because she didn't read the listing, which had details in bold type, all caps, plus photographs and she still missed it. It's exhausting. But the money is good! Nicely rehabbed bags do fetch a good price and the rehabbing process is fun and relaxing.I just want to find a green bag- did the saddlery bag come in green? The in person part is what intrigues me. If I could get that going, I'd consider it. The online I can imagine is daunting. Reading comprehension escapes a lot of people...If you can sell in person, that would be awesome! I don't like selling on eBay. Do you have art fairs in your area? My sister used to set up tables at coffee shops and sell dragon sculptures she made. She didn't make a lot of money and she doesn't do it any more but it was a lot of fun to go with her. My city has a lot of farmer's markets and craft shows in the summer where I think it would be fun to bring a bunch of my rehabbed bags and see what I can get for them. Honestly though, the more knowledgeable buyers seem to be online. It's hard to sell a plain looking leather bag to someone who doesn't understand its history and quality. The in person part is what intrigues me. If I could get that going, I'd consider it. Thanks a lot! That’s good to knowI have 10 bags from the 2012 legacy line and I think I dunked only a black Rory. But it was a quick dunk with Dawn only. It dried fine. I’m not sure how the colored ones would do.
We do have those, yes. It's something to consider as well.Do you have art fairs in your area? My sister used to set up tables at coffee shops and sell dragon sculptures she made. I am very new to this game, just start to sell on eBay. So far sold 2 bags but one was cancelled. Buyer didn't notice item located in Canada, shipping was too expensive for her. That is 50 percent cancellation. How could anyone bid on eBay without look at shipping cost first? If you can sell in person, that would be awesome! I don't like selling on eBay. Ive sold one bag to a friend and another on a consignment store online site, Was thinking of using this site again to pass on the ones that dont work for me. Doing it to make a buck does not work as the length of time to get one here in NZ would mean I would hve to buy a bag a week from Ebay. Turnaround really from finding, buying rehabbing and selling would be about a month each bag. Just not going to work.I am very new to this game, just start to sell on eBay. I only sell bags don't work for me as well. Sometimes even loose a few bucks because the global shipping price plus import tax paid at buying.Ive sold one bag to a friend and another on a consignment store online site, Was thinking of using this site again to pass on the ones that dont work for me. But just to sell the occasional one might be ok.
