10 motif pink in RG. I’m slightly obsessed with the set. Wonder when they made it and if can be orderedOoooh which one ? I only saw the pictures of the HP so can't help for porcelain I am afraid. Maybe one day
I have the Vendôme Magic pendant, I love how rich and deep the blue is. I’ve heard of some porcelain being described as uneven but haven’t seen this IRL myself. Of course, I would just melt into a puddle for the raspberry pink sevres, that’s my holy grail
What are you intrigued by / unsure of? I am more interested in the deeper, bolder colors (Vendôme and raspberry) than the lighter colors (celadon, light pink)
ETA: saw after my post that you’re thinking the 10 motif pink…light pink or raspberry pink? I tried to order a raspberry set a while ago before the SOs were closed. It was suggested that I may need more high jewelry in my collection
I love the raspberry and of course would take it but the light pink with RG have a better chance of obtaining. I want to layer with my turquoise and need a pink. Said supply issues and to resubmit later.
Now, this is one of the hardest SO to get approved. For awhile a couple pink porcelain SO were approved ~10 years ago (even one for member here, a 5 motif), but now it would be considered only for the very top clients, and still very difficult.
Just my luck of course it would be. I’m going to try for pink mother of pearl again whenever they reopen SO. Hopefully new criteria will be workable. Have you heard any news?
No news about SO opening up, but I haven’t asked. I will update if I hear anything helpful.
For PMOP SO, it is much more do-able than pink porcelain SO. I can only share my friends’ experiences because I do not desire PMOP for myself, and I doubt I could get it anyway. One friend is a member here and was told she was qualified to order but the boutique was only allowed to nominate one client to SO the stone and another SA had beat ours to the punch by a few hours (this was at #2 or #3 top performing boutique in the world, so likely some boutiques have no allocations for the stone other than for VVIP). Another friend is a higher spender and has lapis pave, turquoise pave, many diamond watches and special and less common pieces and was not able to SO based on profile/boutiue. I don’t know the back story of why. We know of some on SM who have ordered it though, so I think for PMOP SO, it is just a case of ask every year and hope for the best. It seems like the rules and steps change all of the time, so what it true today may be different tomorrow.
That’s so crazy no rhyme or reason just the mystery of VCA SO. My original ask was for 10 motif and two 5 motifs-one being pave. I have been toying with idea of getting the pink mop and guilloche watch to satisfy want for pink stone. The only thing holding me back is that I said no more watches as it never wear the ones I have. Please let the VCA gods here my prayers and get me some variation of a pink stone.
There is especially no rhyme or reason because there are enough PMOP stones to make more watches than customers who want to buy them. It is one of the whims of VCA things, like you say. I think asking for it with alternating pave does increase your chances, and asking for a set also helps. Fingers crossed for your pink stone!

I have the opportunity to purchase a RG hammered 10 motif. I haven't tried it on yet. I'm sitting here playing around with my 5 motif RG bracelet to see how it would look as a necklace and I'm not so sure about it. I wear a lot of RG but I'm thinking it looks better on me with a stone or diamonds for some brightness like my pave pendant. RG hammered looks too washed out to me on my neck, it feels like it is too much plain RG? I like how it looks on my wrist, but my arms are not as pink/pale as my neck.
Thoughts? I took pics in different lighting. I won't be mad if you all tell me that you hate the hammered on my neck because it will be 10k saved 😂.
