Just so you know, it should be able to be restamped if you want it right again. When they did my reshank they took out all the markings (which makes sense) but I had to ask for them to redo it, which they did with no problem.

Ohh... Thanks so much for letting me know. I just blew it off and never mentioned it to them, even though it bothered me. I'm glad to know that it can be put back. Thank you :)

I wanted to add in this chaotic thread that my jeweler contacted me to let me know my new custom halo setting will be in either tomorrow or Friday!!! I can hardly wait! Apparently, there are only 3 micropave setters in the entire city, hence the painful wait!

Yea we have two sets of them. One for us and one for insurance reasons. It's perfect because it includes everything. Any advice on jewelry insurance companies? a few of our friends have chubbs for cash value of the item? Any insight?
WOOHOO! Looks awesome! :yahoo:

IF Chubb will insure you without adding a house or car that's my first choice. The key is finding an agent that will do it. If your ring is valued pretty high, they should be able to do it, and I am just guesstimating in my head what his value is so I can't imagine they'd turn you down.

IF they won't do it, Jewelers Mutual. Just be sure they note TACORI, and all the details about your stone.

My guess is still Friday night or saturday morning. He is milking this for all it's worth!

Ame - back to topic! Lol was your jeweler able to reach vatche and see about the situation at all? Maybe get a timeline?
No word yet. I am in assembly mode on an order tonight so I haven't been checking my phone or email much ;) I am hoping I hear from him though.

whoops - i LOVE your ring! mine will be coming onto my finger either tonight or tomorrow. i'm like lkajdlkjadf.

Dude I totally know what that sounds and feels like ;)

Jeweler dude said that the guy who sized it "kind of apologized" but wasn't overly apologetic. He sent it out to Vatche today and stressed that he wanted it here FRIDAY of this week lol. We shall see...

Ooooh!!! How fun! Has he proposed? or will you have to wait? Any idea of how it may look like?

Do you have OCD?

I have NEVER in my life seen anyone with so much obsession about her many series of e-rings and wedding rings.

Not to upset you, but you seem like you will ALWAYS find fault with something regarding these rings.

I think that's sad.

I don't think the snot is anyone you went to school with....I think the snotty attitude is YOURS and YOURS ALONE!

Get over it and enjoy your ring.

WOW! This is probably one of the rudest comments I ever read on TPF. The reason we are all members of this forum is to talk about our fun purchases and/or vent about our item problems. Maybe you are lucky enough to never have a problem with a piece of jewelry, but not everyone is so lucky. If you do not have anything supportive to say, keep your comments to yourself.

Ame- I am sorry that this situation happened to you. Please ignore inconsiderate comments made by people who may not understand your situation.

wow, cant believe i missed this thread. ame- i hope thing work out and work out SOON! sounds like you've been through the wringer with bad luck! hopefully this will be the last of it!
Tell me about it. Bad luck is right! Time for some new karma!

*cleanses self of crappy karma*

Thank you, I appreciate your words both in response and to me. :)

don't want to hijack but its the tacori 2504rd without the halo setting.. ;) i picked it out in aug. the wait is horrible! (also just noticed 3 bottles of champagne in the fridge... what?!)

Ame, you seem to have a string of bad luck with your jewellery. :(

I can understand why Crystallina (was that the name?) said what she did, to an outsider who doesn't know your story, it just seems like you've created thread after thread about problems with your rings. I'm one of those who doesn't pay too much attention to such fine detail, perhaps that's why she said to just take a step back and try and enjoy your jewellery.

But if you have paid so much for it, you have the right to expect that they don't come back to you with a shoddy ring! And if you have OCD and if you know that the fault is there ... it is very hard to ignore it! I don't know why anyone would remove trademarks, but it sounds very careless and thoughtless! I hope the day comes that you have your perfect rings at last. Sending you good luck!!
