Yknow, you just never know. I have been friends with people who I thought I knew and then out of nowhere a HUGE secret comes out or they do something so out of what I would think is character.

I felt that it would be a 1mm or 2mm band of the same metal as the others. I think it looks very nice in pictures that I have seen here & magazines plus the function of protecting other rings.

Speaking of push presents, not to derail in any way, but I have an acquaintence whom had a baby about 4 months ago. The diamond was about 1/2 carart, but very, very pink.

Well, she's a wretched human being because she just filed for divorce from him because she can't "handle" being a mother and the post partum is getting to her. And this is where a push present can backfire. I feel so bad for that guy.....

Anyway...yes, Contessa, Lola demands a Birkin!!!

I suppose having another baby BEFORE the divorce to grab another gift would be "pushing" it, huh?!

LOL!!! That is so cute. You and Star Jones must have well behaved fur babies. I think my $20 Petsmart dog carrier will do fine for mine. He is my precious little boy and all but he's a total biter and has torn apart his carrier, five beds, etc. so there is NO WAY IN HELL I would let him near my Birkin!!! Even if I had the money for one, I would get something more practical or save it. Now, when I'm older and I've got a cushy retirement and money to spend, a Birkin is at the top of the list!! :p

Cady - that is awful! For the husband's sake, I hope that 1/2 carat very very pink diamond is a CZ!
