I wanted to add in this chaotic thread that my jeweler contacted me to let me know my new custom halo setting will be in either tomorrow or Friday!!! I can hardly wait! Apparently, there are only 3 micropave setters in the entire city, hence the painful wait!
Oh dear! My heart beat is raising! I will wait like a puppy for the treat!!!:yahoo:

Ame, you seem to have a string of bad luck with your jewellery. :(

I can understand why Crystallina (was that the name?) said what she did, to an outsider who doesn't know your story, it just seems like you've created thread after thread about problems with your rings. I'm one of those who doesn't pay too much attention to such fine detail, perhaps that's why she said to just take a step back and try and enjoy your jewellery.

But if you have paid so much for it, you have the right to expect that they don't come back to you with a shoddy ring! And if you have OCD and if you know that the fault is there ... it is very hard to ignore it! I don't know why anyone would remove trademarks, but it sounds very careless and thoughtless! I hope the day comes that you have your perfect rings at last. Sending you good luck!!
I too hope this comes to a close soon. I am sick of it, and I have made that abundantly clear since the start.

The backlash this person brought upon herself is less about who followed it for how long and what they knew and more about her choice of tactless wording and the tone in which she worded it. It was crass and judgmental and it was completely unacceptable to me and others who regularly post in here.

This thread is like a huge mixture of bad (Ame's ring + people being unkind to Ame) and excitment (Whoops, Contessa, and others)!

Ame - I hope the restamp happens quickly and painlessly. Let the haters hate.

Ame I have followed each of your threads with amazement of the bad luck and sheer shoddy workmanship that you have had to deal with.

I agree that what others have said on this thread is uncalled for, you know what quality workmanship looks and feels like so when you are presented with less than when you have high standards it is hard to be pleased with less.

I am not engaged (or any where close to this!) but I know if I am going to be wearing a ring for the rest of my life I better be pleased with it! shoddy workmanship on a RHR or something you dont have to see everyday is more acceptable imo then a piece of jewellery that represents the relationship and life that you and your husband have bult together.:hugs::flowers:

I hope this all comes to an end soon so you can enjoy your wedding set and move on to the next sparkly upsession!! hehe

lol thanks! I am definitely goin to wait a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG while before getting any new sparklies unless they're fakes. lol My threshold for bad luck with this stuff has definitely been broken.

I appreciate the kind thoughts ladies!!! I hope I get my restamped well fitting ring back tomorrow as we are hoping.

We know the ring is at Vatche. No news beyond that. So let's all hope it's this weekend. I told him if it's not til Sat fine but it needs to be here this weekend!

lol! Yes it is. The stamp is actually smaller now which I prefer. But its there! woot!

He gave me some baseball tix for Sunday which are REALLY NICE seats. Doesn't undo it all but makes me feel like he does care. lol

I need to go out and snap some before the sun goes down completely!

Thanks guys! I am glad. I will hope for no surprises later but so far so good! :yahoo:
