DAMN yet again, I only got to see this message now which is after I went to Chanel already!!
Luckily I was still in town at 7.30pm otherwise I would have missed out a chance to see the large 227 2.55 reissue in light silver........plus a navy lambskin medium with the new chain which had JUST arrived! I kinda forgot how much it was
oops! But I know it was £11xx just can't remember the last two numbers might have been 45?? It was gorgeous!
Checked but sorry no wallet on chain!!! I think I went into Chanel 3 times today...more embarressing than calling them as they get to see you so many times...they probably think I am so annoying!

Brendating, i want to ask, when they put ur details down, is it on a piece of white card?? i called few days ago, although the SA knew the 'reissue' once i said it, but she told me she wasn't sure what they r going to get yet, so didn't put my details down and ask me to call later.....so i'm wondering what is going on there..
YES they do put your details on a white card, or myself rather!!
I thought exactly the same thing as you actually!! But CHANEL manchester has finally proved to me that they actually do take note of those cards when they called me at 7.30pm to say that some new bags came in, the 227 silver reissue and the medium navy classic flap.
The reason I think IMO is that they are not too knowledgeable with bag names hence you will have to call them as they don't know what bag you are talking about!
that is a good idea, i will be taking a big print out of the reissue im after so im not faced with blank looks by the SA's, good luck. any ideas what the reissues will retail at?
By the way, the metallic reissues that CHANEL manchester have ordered are metallic silver (in store now), metallic green, metallic navy and metallic red. I read from the UK CHANEL thread that you want the navy right?! You better waitlist now! Don't think anyone is on the list yet I think they only get about 1 or 2 in of each colour.
LARGE 227 size metallic silver labelled £1395 so I assume thats the price for all the other colours.

Yes it was just the Manchester Selfridges store I was talking about. I don't think London stores has received any of the metallic reissues yet when I called them they had less of an idea!!

hi ladies ~ re the metallic re~issues ~ according to my SA ~ manchester have ordered the blue silver & green in the jumbo size only ~ the measurements they gave were 32x19x10 (cm) ~ london have ordered the red also only in the jumbo size ~ seems to be quite a bit of confusion over the sizes this time around ~ both stores are taking names ~ neither called me as they said they would ~ so i'm relying on the boutiques ~ haven't let me down yet ~ just thought i'd share ~ v ~

He he he ...... I know what you mean. I rang them earlier on to ask them something and Matthew recognised me from my voice..... oh dear... how embarrassing.. lol
Thats why I think this thread is so good because you can get other people to ask on your behalf!! I keep asking them why they havent got wallet on chains in stock - the SAs say they 'just get what they get' - but I cant understand it, can they not ring Selfridges in London to see if they have them there and transfer stock..... apparently the SAs say they cant do this... but that seems so strange to me.... it's the same store!
