Dear all,
I forgot that - correct me if I'm wrong - shopping from the majority of the popular resellers means vat, customs.
Do you know (maybe you're from Europe yourself) which ones you don't pay taxes and so on for because of EU?
Thanks in advance
You can do a search for European resellers. Off the top of my head, collectors square and Catherine B in Paris (both with some pros and cons and not inexpensive).

And of course, not EU, but luxury Zurich, formerly luxury shops, in Switzerland. I mention it only bc I think there might be a branch in the EU.

Hello ladies. anyone bought from IG Finkle puff before?? or Lux lexion ?? any issues with authenticity ?
I recently bought from her. Transaction was very smooth. I personally fetched mine in singapore. It came with a bababebi cert, which i oprted to pay.
She also gave me a copy of the receipt of the bag.
It came with complete inclusions and bag was in very very good condition, unused. I would recommend her.

Hi all!
Does anyone have any recent experience purchasing from finklepuff that is willing to share with me? there’s a bag that I’ve been eyeing that seems to be pretty rare to come by at a reasonable price point but I’m worried about the condition when I receive it as I heard a lot of hit or miss stories.

Thank you!
I purchased an unused k28 from her just 2 months ago. Transaction was very smooth. It came with complete inclusions including a copy of the receipt.

I can't comment on this particular reseller, but in general:
1. I would always get a separate authentication from BB prior to purchase, regardless of what the reseller says about the item's authenticity (unless they already can furnish it for you (and even then, if I didn't know them, would verify)
2. If there is any issue with them providing the correct photos, saying it's not needed, etc., that's a large red flag. I have dealt with resellers who have offered to deduct BB's fee, should I buy the bag in question- that's a standard I would look for. ( Just because they are that positive of its authenticity, did NOT stop me from getting BB's opinion, BTW)
3. I would never send money ( wire, CC etc.) as a down payment contingent upon an authentication etc.- but that's me.
4. I have sent photos etc. to BB for authentication and just waited until I hear ( usually her turn around time is excellent), and only then seriously considered purchase. If it's gone, so be it. What I have found is, with H, there's always another wonderful bag waiting.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for sharing your practices.
Question:
1. How do you know they don’t send you a fake bag that is modeled on a real one they get a bbbb cert for?
2. Since you’re wiring money, how do you know for there that they’ll actually send you a bag?

It seems like you work with retail shop resellers which hopefully gives some reassurance, but I’ve always wondered how people are willing to buy from Facebook resellers. Just so many steps along the way where fraud can happen!

I usually have the bag in hand when I contact bababebi, primarily because I only purchase from established, reputable resellers and I’m willing to take on a fight should there be a problem with a return. I’ve never had a problem.

I would never wire money under any circumstances; the potential problems aren’t worth it.

I’m not on Facebook, and I don’t know why people do it either.

These are only my views based on my own experience but I would say that of all of the posts on this forum involving problems with authenticity after purchasing a bag from a reseller, the vast majority involve things like wire transfers, individual sellers, not doing enough research, and not asking enough questions/assessing any answers with a clear head. It’s not unheard of, but it seems that there are many fewer posts expressing complaints about purchases from established, reputable resellers. JMO, YMMV. :flowers:

WHO can i ask to help me sell my bag? Lemon Yellow P'Tit Arcon. Mint condition. Just got it in July in NYC/Madison.
Where would I find them? (I just pack way too much stuff in my bags) but it IS such a cute bag and I saw it recently at the SFO Hermes up in the display cabinet with the Not for Sale plaque.

You can start by getting quotes from Fashionphile, Rebag or other resellers. If you are brave you can try to sell it yourself on eBay (I don’t sell things there personally, but some people do).

I can't find anything about Bags By Appointment. Could anyone help me out?

Thank you, someone posted it at n1 but... I couldn't find one single review.
Edit: I see some posts by bots on google but it's terrible when you have money and still cannot be sure if it's legit. A fluke happens everywhere. Some explicitly say no return policy. Weird. I guess @bababebi can tell you later. I don't know how long it takes for her when it's free. Also when I looked at one trusted seller here (allegedly, so many suggestions and mixed reviews!)
"Love Luxury does not buy all types of art. To find out if your artwork is elegible for sale, please view: Banksy, Monet, Rembrandt, Picasso, Michaelangelo (...) It makes one vary. Tbh, I laughed a bit. Like.. seriously?

I'm looking to purchase a Birkin 25 in box calf leather, palladium hardware - a dream bag! I'm looking at the second hand market because I don't have a relationship with an SA in Miami. Does someone know the cost of this bag at retail? I'm trying to compare it to the cost second hand. I'd also love any pictures or thoughts people have on this bag!
I think it was $16300-17000 before tax last year, or a little bit less? I don’t remember if that was for 25 or 28.
