I'm really sorry, this is for real and I wish my nephew didn't post his *** hole comments.

How far back was he posting? For days? And how weird that your nephew would even care who swanky is let alone if she was paid or not. I'm so confused.

I hope you have some friends you can lean on right now. It's important in times like this. Sorry for your loss.

This is very strange, because your nephew spoke to many specifics about the history of the forum, so you can understand why that is a difficult thing to believe. I'm not saying you are lying, just pointing out that this has been going on for a long time and comments were made with a passionate stance on specific issues and members.

It's probably something you should now take to Megs via PM.

I also recommend posting in Animalicious regarding your loss, where you will likely get a lot of support and we can keep this thread on topic.

There was one new poster who recently posted a 'thanks for not helping me' but at least most of them have been polite.

'Thanks for not helping me' def isn't kind at all. I don't understand people giving attitude when asking for a free service, but then again, I don't think any of us would understand that!

Some new posters don't realize we are volunteers so they think we are slacking at our job when we don't respond quick enough.
When I see that type of comment or similar post that smacks of entitlement, I'll often respond with something to the effect of "authenticators volunteer hours of their own free time and expertise to offer their free help to members. They receive no compensation for their efforts. Keep in mind that like you, they have jobs, families and responsibilities outside of TPF and you should appreciate that they volunteer efforts that they even make time to come here to help."

i think the last comments (you are paid, go team) is what zippie is refering to, is not her style, she would have use more than a one liner and explained why or use an example to illustrate her point
i am sorry zippie, please look after yourself, i don't know what else to say, sorry

Specific.

EDITED TO CLARIFY:
This post is too specific an issue from a nephew who does not have history on the forum – and a concern Zippie has brought up previously.

Well, this is pretty much a one liner and happened over a week ago. That's why I was asking. :flowers:
