I wear my TODS drivers as walkers all the time! I have them in so many colors... My Dh wears his drivers as inside shoes (no shoes that have been outside allowed in my home), he has another pair in his car just for driving. They do wear quickly but they are soooo comfy

Thanks for sharing. I generally think if shoes are comfy for walking, you should wear them for walking! Always nice to hear from others who feel the same. Think you posted a while back about how long your gommini flats generally last as walkers, but I don't remember your comments. Could you let us know?
On an unrelated note: I know many of us have been posting about a desire for a TODS subforum. Is there anywhere we can send comments in this regard? There seem to be more and more of us who are TODS enthusiastsmore than seem to be posting for some of the other designers w/their own subforums. Thanks!
I love the G-bag. I have been using mine non-stop since I bought it. I saw the new colors for fall/winter and I am definitely going to buy another one in dark brown. It's the perfect size for me and definitely "throw-away" but with style

Definitely at the top of the list. And I also like the red one, but it is too small for me.However, it is better for me to wait until the fall/winter collection hits the shops in Italy, since my G-bag was 490 Euro, which is cheaper than $825, even with the exchange rate fluctuation which does not seem to stop...

I also wear them for walking. Can't really tell about how long they last since I bought my first pair two years ago and I am still using it regularly (it's a "winter" pair, so I used it for two seasons, but it is still in top conditions).
I also vote in favour of a Tod's subforum. I am actually surprised it does not exists, since Tod's it is an excellent brand with many fans and it is available basically all around the world.

I am so lusting after a leather G-Bag! How come on some websites they are called Sacca Grande or something like that? I like the almond/beige colored one and I think they have it in colors like purple? If someone has any leather G-Bag, I would really appreciate modeling pics. I want to know how big it is when carried, though I understand that they have 2 sizes?

The G-bag & Sacca Media/Grande are generally the same bag, though these bag names are sometimes also used to identify other bags (probably incorrectly). And there are additional names used to identify the G-bag. Not certain of the reason for the variety of names. Marketing perhaps? The smaller (media) leather G-bag was on sale at boutiques in purple and a bright blue. Haven't seen the grande on sale in leather anywhere. Saks had the leather grande in some stores in the almond/beige color you mentioned. And Saks has carried this color (also the black) in the media online. (For a longer shoulder drop, the coated canvas bag also comes w/a long strap; not sure if this is also the case w/the leather bag.)
Just so you know: piccola = small; media = medium; grande = large. However, all bags do not come in all sizes. And some bags, such as some of the Pashmys, are very large in the media, so you still need to check dimensions.

Anyway, I still prefer the canvas version. I tried out the leather and even if it's very nice and comes in a variety of colors, I just think this model looks better in coated canvas.
