congrats to the sales, good news! did they do upfront payments for first 2 items or were they sold on site?
I've shipped them 2 more bags (or 2 huge boxes), one is being processed and another is on the way:)

Thank you! It was nice!
They were sold on the site, so hoping for no returns.
Do you know what the return period is?
I want to say how grateful I am for experiences shared here - I love how we help and look out for each other!

NO returns! At all! buyers do returns, but Thredup handles it, they are selling some of my returned items now on site, so if it's sold - it's sold! Yay!
I am also so very grateful, especially when it's about something new and scary, sharing experience helps to make things easy and confident:smile:

Woohoo! [emoji16][emoji322][emoji16]

I just wrote an email to my luxe associate asking if they can address the cart/hold policy to help with sales.

I told them too, several times. They even called me to talk about my experience and wanted to know my comments / advises lol, maybe it's because I sent them A LOT of stuff:smile: 50 in 2 first bags (about 60 - 65% sold) so far, 30 on the way and 30 is being processed

Threadup Luxe LOST MY ITEMS!!!!!!!!!!! I sent them a used chanel wallet, a like new ($1,200 value) Chanel clutch and a neverfull damier. Waited for over 3 weeks for them to process, then last week I get an email "your item has too much wear". I write back "are you referring to all 3 of my items? please confirm", this morning I get an email "we only received a used chanel wallet, are you sure you didn't send the other bags to a different site? if you're sure then we will look". ARE TOU KIDDING ME?! how to you misplace peoples luxury items!!!? this isn't the gap underwear you've been selling up until now, its thousands of dollars that people send!! I am BEYOND ANGRY, the clutch and the neverfull are around $2,000!! Anyone has any advice? it was a limited edition Chanel Camellia clutch so if I see it on their site I will know its mine. yes, but now im reading a ton of reviews and apparently they "loose" a lot of items, tell people they will refund the money and then never answer. I'm so mad at myself for trusting them, they seemed legit but apparently its a mess over there. Either way, I am not letting this go.

true! Thanks!! I didn't think of that. At least I have something. The more bad reviews about them I'm reading, the more im freaking out. I have to stop hahah

Tradesy and eBay have lots of bad reviews too:) content sellers / buyers just don't write reviews. i am sure they will fix it, it's their new initiative and they do try their best to make it viral, I'm sure they will refund you or will find your stuff!! will be waiting for good news from you

View attachment 3829611 View attachment 3829612 View attachment 3829613 Sorry if my pictures are huge.

The problem is that they decide some of your items aren't "commission-worthy" and so give you an immediate payout of far less than the item is worth. I had this problem with them where they mis-marked and/or underestimated MSRP on several of my items that were supposed to be on commission and the answer was basically "too bad, so sad" even though I had screenshots and evidence. They didn't care at all and it makes me really hesitant to ever use the service again. Just one example is this Coach bag. This was in 2014/2015 and I'm still mad about it.

Wow, I am so sorry and so glad that I read this. I signed up for the luxe program, but read online reviews first, since I planned to send in mostly high end handbags. The reviews were shocking to say the least, many many others with similar experiences to what happened to you. I decided that it was not worth the risk. We have chatted about this threadup selling promotion a bit on the tradesy thread and some people were trying it. I just got out my threadup mail-in bag and was thinking about putting some items in it. Now I am backing away quickly. I am not a risk taker.

it's not like that with Luxe program. You have a chance to adjust price during 2 days before they post items or before they even offer any upfront payouts. And they price luxe items fair. I sent them Luxe bag with 25 items, they sold 16 of them in 40 days, 8 of them were upfront and 8 were sold on site. Considering the fact that I have it all (100% commission), I am more than happy. The only thing I didn't like is they are veeeery slow on every stage - from sending a bag or label to proceeding items and answering e-mails. but overall experience is great. They proceed my other bag with 30 high-end items yesterday and I plan to ship some more before the end of this promo, new label is on it's way to me.

Wow, these stories are horrifying!!! I was excited at first but after reading though just half these posts, I'd be afraid to send them ANYTHING. Yiiiikes. Awful.
OK, I should have been warned, but maybe it will still turn out OK.
They finally processed my first box of the two I sent in.
There are some pricing snafus, like the two items I tried to adjust the price of get stuck at a different price than what I set. I tried to edit the price of a new chanel mini flap from $2499 to $2299 and it auto sets to $1999. There is an explanation that you can not set prices above $2000, so I emailed them about this and hopefully they can adjust it themselves BEFORE the go live date.
I had an Anna Sui dress that they priced at $51 and I just want to sell it quickly so I tried to price it at $35 but it keeps showing the price to $33. I don't care about $2, but it makes me too nervous to adjust the prices of my other items in that box (a Hermes belt and Louboutin heels) because I am afraid the price on these will also change to not what I type in but to whatever random number they come up with (it happens instantly, it never shows the price I type in).
The biggest problem is that there was an almost new Chanel jacket that I paid over $3,000 for in the box and it is not on the box contents list at all!!! I emailed them of course, so I will let you know what happens. I did include a detailed list of what was in each box and took photos, but I'm not sure what good that will do if they lost my Chanel jacket somehow.
I have another box with more items and also more expensive items, so hopefully this wasn't a big mistake.
