Looks like it’s all lower end brands too. I presume it can’t be the same inventory as on their site because what if someone on eBay buys an item someone on the ThredUp site is hoarding in their cart?Weird - I didn’t! It’s only dresses though, that’s a bit odd?
I don’t trust them. I wouldn’t be surprised if they paid out pennies or even if the items were “rejects” which they claim aren’t good enough for sale; yet they sell them anyway. With a few exceptions, my opinion of their business model can be summed up in 2 words: “greenwashed theft.”I didn't know that either! Interesting. Thanks for sharing that. Why didn't you have recourse?I think you are right. I sent them a small, perfect condition contemporary bag . . . and it disappeared. POOF! Never made it into my inventory. I actually didn't notice right away and had zero recourse when I finally did realize a few weeks later. Fortunately, not a very expensive item but still.
