I have the “auto buy” feature in my account today. That being said, I also have four bags that I have “favorited” to see when they’re available and all of them doubled in price overnight. I realize that the seller theoretically prices these but I find it hard to believe they all logged in and doubled their prices overnight at the same time... it’s making me a little sketched out on whether we all see the same thing on pricing or not

You must be one of the first testers of the feature! That is a good sign and hopefully it will be rolled out site-wide soon, since honestly we need it available for anyone who happens to visit ThreadUp to really be able to sell our things. I’m very interested to see what happens! That is very odd about the price changes also.

I've got a McQueen bag with Luxe right now. So frustrating because people keep adding it to their cart yet no one is buying it. It's been like this for well over a month. Not quite sure what to do.

You're in good company, this has been happening to all of us. My bag was like this for about 6 weeks and just sold. When the commit to buy feature fully rolls out it should help. Good sign that it's available for cinderella0087.

Well I have good news and bad news. The good news is the coat sold so I’m thinking it notified whomever had it in their cart that I was going to buy it. The bad news is... I didn’t get the coat.

I also noticed that I don’t see this option on the app - only on my laptop. So if you only use the app - log in from a browser and see if you have it!

Oh my gosh!! I have it too - on the desktop only! Someone has to know what they’re doing to get there, but it’s still a step in the right direction. Unfortunately, if they are rolling this out in waves we are likely the first to be able to use this feature (vs regular customers).
Does anyone here have a non-selling account who can see if they have this feature?
Sorry about that coat Cinderella :(

A key case that I have been watching, favorited, put in my cart and removed from my cart, more than doubled in price this am. It’s been on the site for quite some time now. Not sure if the seller did this, or if something else is going on.

A 20% coupon for purchasing through the app went out this morning, so it's possible whoever bought the coat was pushed over to buy by the coupon.

I did go and favorite a bunch of expensive designer bags reserved in other people's carts to see if that would get me the feature faster. :) Still no dice (checked on my desktop).

These price increase reports are very odd.

Ah, thanks! I didn’t get a coupon so I didn’t realize that went out. When it hit the “auto-buy” button it said something like “thanks - well process your order in 7 hours and 48 minutes if the current shopper doesn’t purchase” so I wasn’t clear if they were notifying the person holding it or not.

Wow, that is so crazy. I hope my items didn’t increase in price. They look normal to me, but you never know what others are seeing. It seems like too much of a coincidence.

Lori, I've had the same issue with a pair of booties that have been sitting on the site since end of December. Constantly reserved but no purchase. I'm getting to the end of the consignment period so I'm going to have them send them back and I'm going to send them to TheRealReal most likely. So frustrating. I just hope they send them back with the original box, dust bags, and tissue that I included.
