I currently have someone hoarding my one bag in their cart. So far so good but Im worried about losing my items if they don’t sell and I dont claim them back fast enough. Any experience with that?

why would you lose them? you will have 14 days to reclaim them. so no rush

I reduced the price of my Chanel slingbacks to $349

I reduced the price of my Chanel oxfords several times (the ones with platform, maybe you saw them on site), now they cost $290, and noone ever adds them to cart:(

I just asked to reduce the price of my Birkin again

the price is VERY decent for this bag in such condition! I think TU just doesn't have the "right" audience for this bag.

My $350 bag finally just sold so that brings up dollar value average of what I have sold on TU. : P

I sent them 2 NWT HL dresses I want to try to sell at $400 each so we'll see how those do. Still waiting for commit to buy feature before sending any higher end stuff; I don't see it anywhere. I hope it doesn't take several more months.

I plan on sending some more too and waiting for this feature. I think we all need to let them know that we'll not send more till it's available, maybe it will be implicated faster in this case. 2 pairs of my shoes are still reserved all the time, every single minutes, and they are expiring soon:(

I am not a very active TPFer but I have done a bit of “low range”(?) TU Luxe selling. What I mean is I have sent Rebecca Minkoff, Proenza Shouler, and Red Valentino bags in, and they have not yet processed my Georgio Armani, Tory Burch, and other Luce clothes I sent in.
My experience is customer service responses are slow BUT they accidentally listed my NWT Red Valentino tote as unbranded for a very low price, they left it that way and it sold but right away they paid me $268 to compensate when I emailed them about the mistake!

They will notify you when the consignment period is up (actually they give you a few weeks notice and see if you want to lower your price), then you have a full two weeks to reclaim. So as long as you're getting emails from them you should be fine. You can also check by going into your selling history at any time.

I only sent the two dresses because they said the feature was on its way and I figured it would take several weeks for the dresses to get there and be processed anyway, but I'm kind of annoyed it's not really rolled out on a larger scale yet. I am definitely waiting on more to see it fully on the site. I did tell them I won't send more until it's on the site.

Oh forgot to add, it doesn't hurt to ask them to extend the consignment period given the fact that the promised feature is taking forever to roll out.

I was very surprised to finally sell these shoes today.

I had to go lower and lower, because they look so much worse at those pictures, have no idea why they are so smashed. that's how they looked when I pictured them for Tradesy a while ago, and they were not worn since then

anyway I am just happy that I don't have to reclaim them.
all of the shoes look squashed on this site! Glad they sold. I presume you sent them protected in boxes so they didn't get squashed in transit?

and how do you like the way they treat Hermes scarves?

my eyes are bleeding seeing this
I would never rumple them and tie them up, they should be stored and pictured flat!!
maybe that's just me, idk

Completely agree. With scarves, the design is usually/always what attracts people to them in the first place.

I like and own a couple of Hermès scarves. I am not enough of an aficionado to identify them when they are photographed this way.

This is why I ended up reclaiming (2 weeks early) my only two items that didn't sell--I felt I was lowering the price below what they were worth and I figured if I just relisted them on my own in an appealing way I could get good money for them, and my storage space isn't so overflowing that I just wanted them gone.

there's a whole other thread about someone whose Hermes scarves were returned all crumpled up in balls by TRR. :/ She complained to management and apparently the highest executives got involved to say it was unacceptable.

I contacted the Luxe concierge to let them know about putting the ‘made in’ information in the description. I let them know that many Luxe shoppers would like to know if an item is made in France, Italy or wherever.

I also suggested that they include in the description if a branded dustbag and/or box are included.

I never heard back anything. [emoji853]

I had a MJ wallet sell. I hope my buyer was happy to find that she also received a pristine branded dustbag and box; that is if they sent them with the wallet. [emoji6]

Several of us have provided the same feedback about dustbags/boxes.

I finally reduced to $329 which is a ridiculous price and they sold. I’m kind of in a “whatever” mode about TU now. Just sell what I have with them now to avoid the inconvenience, but won’t send anything else to them until they fix the listing/photography and especially the cart issue.
