girls, and maybe it makes sense to monitor your lost items on eBay, it would help Thredup to find thieves if there are some. it's really weird, so many lost items, I don't think it's fedex, it seems like a fraud inside the company

100% agree!
So sorry about what happened with your returned items and no response yet...
You know we are rooting for you.
I had a box that was delivered 12/27 and is still processing, if I have items coming back it will be interesting/scary to see what condition they are in.

In my angry last email to them (followed 2 days later with an offer for resolution) I referenced my items as lost/misplaced or allowed to be stolen. Not sure if that woke them up. I doubt the boxes are being tapered with en route. Like you, I think they have a bad apple or several bad apples amongst them. If a work place has bad morale and the employees feel like they are not being compensated fairly, they just might make up the difference in other ways. Know what I mean??

Ladies, I’m happy to report that after 3 agonizing weeks since I found out my items were lost/stolen/misplaced, they (Ashley/Claire) finally made it right. I was offered a pay out for all 5 missing items. I felt the prices they offered for the items were fair (some more than what I would price it at and others a little less). I cashed out this morning to PayPal and now waiting for it to show up in my bank. I am so relieved this whole ordeal is over! Part of me was starting to accept that I might not get a resolution just so I could move on. Besides you guys, I didn’t even tell anyone about this situation. I actually felt really embarrassed about it as if I got duped. Anyway, thanks for reading my previous posts and your words of encouragement. Love tPF members! [emoji173]️

Yay!!

Yes, hopefully these incidents will cause them to institute stricter intake procedures with the luxury items.

I think this is what happened also. One or two packages lost may be just very sloppy receiving, but several just among our group means a much bigger problem that does not sound like an accident. No chance it is FedEx. USPS maybe, but again not to this extent.

Right! Just within this thread there are too many examples of lost items. Even items not lost are handled poorly. I’m not going to use the Luxe program anymore but I’ll still send in the regular bag of gently used non designer items as a way to prune my closet. Those things I don’t really care if they go missing or get stolen.

I noticed that there are almost no sales in January. I have over 50 items for sale and only 3 sales in Jan (I had like 15 - 20 a month in November and December). Price range is about the same. One of my bags currently has NO reserved items at all, other has 2.
Is it me or does everybody is experiencing the same? I know January is always low but I do have good sales at the other sites.

me too fashion victim... my sales are way slower in Jan... not sure what's going on. could be that now there is a lot more luxury to choose from on luxe, so with more choices, buyers are spread thin... for now. i hope its temporary! jan can slow down on many sites.
